I don't know how to use a command line, for I am a Zoomer.
>>
>>101573771
cli is a deprecated user interface, if the user has to use it for something, it means you haven't covered your use case- or it means you're a repulsive freetard who thinks user interfaces are bloat
>>
cant you inspect element on mac

Very possible to not be trolling given how good mint is now. It's your version of command prompt called Terminal.

Brilliant way of calling your customers retards. Never change, Steve.

Why would I give my users a command line? They are users, not developers or admins.

one of the benefits of the CLI/TUI is its scale

operating with 80x60 boxes can be simpler and quicker than operating with 800x600 boxes.

but its the simplicity in general he advocates, not exactly more sophisticated GUIs

its mostly the input that frustrate "THEM" users

they're remaking time bandits but they got rid of all the midgets because its insensitive so they are all just normal size people now because that's less insensitive i guess

The command line is easy to use, easy to automate and script, easy to remote administrate, easy to walk someone through, easy to display, easy to combine with other programs, and easy to troubleshoot. It's not as intuitive for actual graphical tasks as a GUI, but it's optimal for just about everything else.
The only people who can't use it are retards who need a GUI with an exploratory learning process that is the equivalent of shoving something in your mouth.

He's right (well, not really, since he didn't say that). But the problem isn't the command line, it's the existence of "end users".

Apple might be overpriced and treats the user like a slave, but their software philosophy is solid
There is a lot more than people realize to their dedication of "It just works"

imagine if you needed to understand thermodynamic metallurgy to use a toaster. most people just want the toast as quickly and easily as possible. some want to hold the slice of bread near a fire with their hands.
