>Want to dual-drive Linux and Windows
>AMD sucks on Windows
>NVIDIA sucks on Linux

How does one resolve this dilemma?

Just try it. Shit will probably work on Linux. For things that don't work on Linux, probably only games, use your windows install. If Linux just completely doesn't work with your gpu (highly doubt) then look up what drivers you need and make sure you install them

Simple, use each for what they're good at

Intel Arc GPU

On the contrary, AMD is better on Windows, it has more support while it is crippled on Linux. Their NPUs doesn't even work on Linux, at all. The mesa drivers are ootb on Linux but lacks features, you would need to install the AMD PRO drivers ANYWAY and hope you have official support. On NVidia is pretty straightforward, you install the drivers, you get the support.
I dare to say Nvidia is better on Linux because you don't have the NVIDIA experience bullshit. If I were you, I'd go for NVidia or Intel Arc.

AMD does not suck on windows tho

The driver is currently under review, should be in the kernel soon

In the meantime, it isn't.

You can get it by manually building the kernel for the time being.

The amd pro driver is so shit phoronix doesn't even bother to include it in comparative benchmarks.
You're right Nvidia isn't that broken on Linux, it's mostly a corporate pissing match over what Wayland has to support. On X it's fine and probably better than and on modern apis.

My only problem with NVIDIA is that I can't get triple buffering to work. I've enabled the Xorg setting, but nothing changes.

I was met with this constantly on Windows, but running the same shit with Proton magically solved my issues.
Some games also run faster despite either platform using the exact same OpenGL code.

Linux has single-handedly made me reconsider my decision to go NVIDIA.

I have never seen this and I was running a RX580 for years.

What are you using Linix for? If it's AI hentai, both Nvidia on Linux and AMD on Linux are better than either on Windows.
