because it's very fast on a large (200k tracks) library, and because it's a TUI so it's easy to control remotely over ssh, avoiding using some shitty http based interface

Nta but don’t you have to like buy songs on iTunes? I use Spotify even tho I have an I phone because with Spotify you can listen to whatever as long as you pay the subscription. Idk how to connect iTunes to emacs or even as a separate application but I can just pull up Spotify in my browser in exwm if I want to. And there is even a Spotify plugin for emms. Apple apps are confusing to me, I regret getting an I phone desu.

Soon to be replaced by Fooyin if they actually update it to be what their roadmap details.

I'm really atached to foobar, but I want to switch to linux. I've tried it with wine before and it was borderline unuseable. What's the most seamless way to "containerize" it? I don't really care about the overhead of running a windows vm just for music. Is there a way to have global hotkeyes work?

not that i know of
I bought an iPhone a week ago, got 2 months of free apple music and been streaming weeb vocaloid stuff just fine, also I like that the apple music app integrates nicely with your pirated local library in your iPhone.

Sorry lad. Switching to a new OS sometimes means letting go of the software and workflows you love. It's still worth it, imo.
>>
>>101589243
just use WSL, you don't have to completely switch to linux

A decent part of the reason I want to switch is to get away from microsoft's bullshit so that isn't really an option. I do still plan to have a headless windows machine that I can remote into for some games and such, maybe I'll try to just use it throught a remoting tool. I currently use a seperate macro pad for all my music keyebinds anyways, so I could just connect that directly to the windows pc. It's a shame that I found some decent windows programs that I don't want to let go of(foobar, directory opus), but it is what it is as long as microsoft keeps being how they are.
