Also, for anyone curious, the reason it shows 50hz is because I'm remoting into it. Apparently that's...just what it says if you're xRDPing.

I don't use it like that though. My "workflow" consists in having one buffer opened at a time, when I need to switch to other "window" I just go
<C-w-2>
, for example to get the second opened buffer. I can also do like picrel and type the buffer I want to go to.
I simply don't like to have multiple things opened at the same time, it messes with my focus, specially when I'm doing work. Also, bonjour anon.

See, the KISS principle isn't a religion, you don't need to follow it 100%. If you like to have the Emacs "feeling" throughout your OS why not breaking KISS just for that?
Emacs unto itself is just a text editor with an ELISP interpreter, I would say it's pretty simple. It depends on how you're planning to use it.

Thanks mate! I'm currently using the stock dwm bar + dwmblocks with bar padding, status padding and true centred title. Bar padding effects tag size, so I'm going with your idea until I can adjust the patch for different section values.
I tend to use your whole foods wallpaper, LOL! I swapped to a Girls Last Tour wallpaper, so I wasn't stealing your style.

>I tend to use your whole foods wallpaper, LOL! I swapped to a Girls Last Tour wallpaper, so I wasn't stealing your style.
Doesn't bother me if you post with that pape :). I randomly stumbled on it when googling "ufo cow wallpaper painting" because I wanted an abstract larry the cow wallpaper when I switched to gentoo, but all of them felt too minimalist. Use it and share it however you want. I mean that's why I hang around these threads, It's fun to get inspiration and "steal" from other people's setups. Hell, my first dwm status bar script was from somebody in one of these threads.

Why? Not that I disagree, just curious.

Why not a 4k monitor in spite of such baller specs?

are you going to ask everyone that

I never felt like 1920x1080 wasn't enough. Is it even worth spending money on 4k? It feels like you're just spending more money for little benefit.

i dont use it myself but im pretty sure you just unzip the file, set filepaths in playlist.txt and execute the executable. the main reason i dont use it is that ikamp only supports .mp3 and .flac, but other than that it looks good. there are other minimal music players tho, see >>101667817 or https://suckless.org/rocks

The hero is using Arch, NPCs ready to be slaughtered are using irrelevant distros. Very accurate indeed.
