Sorry if there is an obvious answer but I'm having trouble finding any info on this so thank you in advance. I'm currently running Debian with an AMD RX 7900 XTX GPU. Would I be able to run ComfyUI without installing ROCm on my distribution? If I understand the process correctly the Python script installs it's own version of ROCm so please correct me if I'm wrong about that. And if it doesn't would you recommend I switch over to a newer distro like Fedora or Mint. Thank you again for you help kind anon.

So a bit of backstory, way back in September of 22, I managed to get SD running after a week of figuring things out. Back then, Auto was the only option and since I have an AyyyMD GPU, I had to dual-boot Linux to get things to work. Half the problems I had were from ROCm not playing well with Ubuntu. I had to fix the ROCm installer to get things working. Now that Flux is out, I decided to switch to Comfy, but I'm now getting "HIP" errors when I try to run it with the new ROCm version. I'm not opposed to just nuking my Ubuntu partition and starting from scratch. Any advice on what distro to switch to?
