Flux fp16 will run painfully slowly as fuck, if you go beyond 1024x1024 resolution.
For greater resolution, fp16 is not worth the wait. Just change it to fp8.

I tried Flux on my GTX 1650 (4GB) with 16 GB ram and while it actually runs, it's more than 10 times as slow as SDXL. I think I clocked in ~130 seconds per iteration. That would mean 45 minutes for a single 1024x1024 gen.
Of course I knew it would be impossible I just wanted to see what would happen...

its a similar concept to cfg. to quote someone smarter than me
