What went so wrong?
This is like 14nm+++ all over again.
>>
they have a quasi monopoly now that intel is imploding.
>>
what's wrong with 14nm you fucking retarded zoomer?
Intel chips are melting down because trannysistors smaller than 10nm aren't good at anything but catching entire chip on fire due to being too densely packed
>>
I want to see Windows 10 benchmarks. Zen 5 works amazing with Linux.

intel's 14+++ processors were fine
zen5 would be too, if they had priced it right

The ryzen team learned new tricks from the rdna3 team
>>
>>101919794
If that's true then that's really embarrassing. Imagine such an experienced company still making noob mistakes like that.

>mlid

You can be sure it's not true in the slightest.

2 weeks back he was claiming zen 5 was the second coming of christ and now he changes his tune, he's just a larping fraud
>>
>>101921364
You're wrong though
>>

TSMC didnt have a huge improvement, so AMD didn't either.
All of ryzens prior performance increases correlated precisely with a substantial node-size shrink.
AMD (and apple) owes a lot of it's success to TSMC.
>>
>>101923151
All of them do. All their generational improvements would be marginal without TSMC.
>>
>>101923151
Zen 3 used the exact same nodes Zen 2 did, and probs had Ryzen's biggest generational gain. (Against Ryzen, O.G. Zen of course had hueg gains vs Piledriver.)
>>
>>101919794
it really feels like zen 2.5
but still [citation needed]
