I try to group them by function. I have a basic workflow of base gen -> image 2 image -> upscale -> face detail -> other inpainting though over time I've added groups for things like loading images from files and WD1.4 tagging them, then using them as base images instead of empty latents, multiple way to upscale, other image processing, several different face detailing methods, etc. I try to set up the workflow where I can pick a seed, run one step with a different ksampler seed until I like the result, then move onto the next step and run until I like the result and so on but the different permutations leads to confusion. Right now for a constant seed my workflow runs twice and I can't understand why.

Not really. I've had it on by accident a few times when loading prompts into txt2img and found it bumps up gen time way too much for what I'm doing. That's especially a problem with what I'm doing right now, which involves sword poses. And either I'm doing something wrong, or good sword poses are VERY hit and miss

if you really like a gen, inpainting is always an option. can do great things with it. esp now that we have differential diffusion/soft inpainting. also, look into dynamic thresholding. really elevates the whole thing.
