I've had these exact earphones for 4 years now
Sound quality is terrific
They suffered from rain twice with no consequences, I even plugged them while they were still wet and I thought oshit it's over, but nothing happened
and I paid them like 7$

Yes are amazing, The first ones, Panasonic ones, not Philips.
The sound is amazing. Last a long time compared with JVC Gumys and the sound is better.
If you’re player have radio they make a good antenna compared with other iem.
Are very stable in the ear so I can run with them without dropping from my ears.
I have 3, one I use and 2 backups for in case will not be produced anymore.
I have the more modern version with microphone and commands on the wire but that doesn’t sound that good.

Damn I remember my old pair. These were really good especially considering you could get them at brick and mortar stores where often the next best thing were Skullcandies or some JVC stuff.
I wish stores would go back to these instead of 20 different kinds of airpod knock offs.

Also forgot to mention, but I have seen the EX155AP for sale still in a few places that are fairly comparable ahebit less low end. Still would be a good desert island pair of earbuds.

Any 15-20 dollar burner recommended by Bad Guy Audio Reviews is fine.
