whenever browsing Civitai images it seems like a big difference between Pony outputs and Flux outputs are just the wider range of colours used.

I think we have a good idea why, the speed increase on 2.5.0 is intentional, and that's a good thing on theory, who doesn't want speed increase. But to get that speed increase what did they do? They added some optimisations, and on some optimisations you have to sacrifise some image quality behind
