epoxy on my ram and rom

Why does the 11 inch E series widely sold to schools not have a Wikipedia entry? WHAT ARE THEY HIDING?
>>

Applying epoxy to RAM (Random Access Memory) and ROM (Read-Only Memory) is generally not recommended for several reasons:

1. **Heat Dissipation**: Both RAM and ROM generate heat during operation, and covering them with epoxy can impede their ability to dissipate heat. This could lead to overheating and potential damage to the components.

2. **Electrical Insulation**: Epoxy acts as an insulator, which means it could interfere with the electrical connections necessary for RAM and ROM to function properly.

3. **Irreversibility**: Once epoxy is applied and cured, it is very difficult to remove without damaging the underlying components. This makes any repair or upgrade impossible without replacing the entire component.

4. **Practicality**: There are no practical benefits to encasing RAM or ROM in epoxy for typical use cases. While epoxy can be used to ruggedize electronics for specific industrial applications, this is not common for consumer-grade RAM and ROM[1][4].

Therefore, it is not safe or advisable to put epoxy on RAM or ROM unless there is a specific need for ruggedization and the potential risks are mitigated through careful engineering.

Should I?

Bare in mind that I'm from a third world communist shithole country, everything here is more expansive.

It seems in good condition. Is there something I should look for that I'm not aware?
What questions should I ask the seller?

What I'm gonna use it is mostly plug on the tv to watch my Jellyfin kinos and when I occasionally travel use it for emails and web browsing.
And other putting my own SSD and maybe changing the battery down the line I'm not planning in doing any other mods.
I just need something reliable that wont break in thousand little pieces when I open the lid while I'm at the hospital.

Not for a shitwhole communist country. Most ones I'm seeing go for $250 and are in worst condition.
And the only thing new for that price is the lowest of the low chromebook.

I'm still in doubt between This >>102302586

90-95% of the time Kingsener won't chink you. Random third party companies it's a coin toss.

Every ThinkPad has a genial and cursory description, clearly someone has. The TPad mafia won't allow it.

I asked this on the pc building thread, but I thought people here might have good insight on this too since it's somewhat related. does anyone here have experience with thinkcentre sff office pcs? I'm thinking of getting an m920 sff from an office for cheap with the 260w psu for a "sleeper" build. does anyone know if if the pcie slot can do 75w, and how much space I'll have inside for a low profile gpu? I have a 1050ti gigabyte low profile which is 75w, and I'm thinking of getting a 1650 low profile later, so does anyone know first hand if they would fit?

What window manager is best compatible with thinkpad tablets?
Normally I use I3WM and love it.
Is it even possible to use I3 on something like an old X200T with its touchscreen and or stylus?
