My aunt thinks her ex bf put cams and stuff in her house. How can I prove there are no cams or audio bugs?
>>
You will never find the glowies bugs, they are everywhere
>>

set up cams yourself and then show her when you take them down
there, all cameras are removed
>>
step 1: detonate an EMP bomb strong enough to fry anything withing 200m radius
step 2: replace broken stuff
step 3: profit

I know I can't beat glowie bugs but some junk set up by a boomer should be easy to spot. No ir tech, radio sniffer app or equipment I could use to at least do a basic sweep?
>>
inspect each piece of furniture and make sure there are no wires. anything using batteries will stop working soon if it hasn't already

One tiny little issue. It was also in the day before radio was really 'a thing.' So it could just shoot it out with no fear of interference or noise. Now there is so much noise and interference that it would need something much more specialized.

Get a metal detector and pass it all over the house.
I would get a little bit concerned if the wood only things starts to give signs of metal there.

change the wifi router password and only reconnect devices you know use the wifi.
This wont 100% ensure they are disconnected, not unless he put a cellphone SOMEWHERE within wifi range of said cameras and is using wifi tethering.
If this is the case, you can normally see said wifi.
He could have hid the wifi name of said cell phone though. If this is the case, see:
https://community.metageek.com/t/how-i-used-inssider-wi-spy-air-to-find-hidden-open-networks-in-my-home/1150

in order for a camera to be functional for him to have remote access to, they will need access to the internet somehow. Don't worry about the cameras, cut them off at their source.
