Apple broke webm support on Safari again. If you try to play a webm on Safari 18 all you get is a blank screen now.

I'm pretty sure this is the bug report for it. Multiple tests failing all related to webm and vp9 and their solution is to just skip the tests and ignore the issue. Is this how modern software is developed now?

looking at
https://results.webkit.org/?suite=layout-tests&test=media/mediacapabilities/vp9.html
there's still Ventura G wk1 Release on Macmini8,1 with x86_64 passing.

where's the actual bug report for OP's issue? some tests timing out for whatever reason and getting skipped isn't it.
