It's nothing more than a gimmick.

me too

Fast google is a pretty good dev tool desu
>>
>>102434127
It clearly didn't use code from github so what's the problem?
>>
>>102434127
are you sure that the web page didn't just generate that page using chatgpt?
chatgpt has a habit of producing the same result.
>>
>>102434127
its the other way around
design gurus is plagarizing chat gpt
>>
It's a fucking scam.
>>
>>102434127
Are you retarded or coping?
>>
>>102434235
>>102434127
Its almost like its whole knowledge base was scraped from the internet :O.
>>
>>102434127
Ask both of them to make a nontrivial modification.
>>
>>102434127
uh yes? This how AI works, why do you think all the scrapping is for?

How do we know this guy didn't prompt ChatGPT first, then put the code into his article and deleted the comments to make it look different
>>
>>102434235
quora is ai-generated too, retard
>>
>>102434127
Wow, so it's a highly compressed version of the entire internet that you can query using natural language questions? That's awesome. I bet no one would act performatively unimpressed by it or pretend that such a straightforwardly useful tool is useless.

>Plagiarize some pajeet tier code
>Replace unsafe strcpy with safer snprintf
>Leave everything else untouched
>MFW AI actually made the code safer
>MFW a paid C course can't properly teach safe alternatives to older unsafe C functions.
It's almost like everyone else in this thread has conveniently ignored the snprintf change.

If you just want to query your own knowledge base :
https://github.com/zylon-ai/private-gpt
https://github.com/QuivrHQ/quivr
https://github.com/PromtEngineer/localGPT

This is EXTREMELY useful when learning. I just put PDFs and ebooks from the topic I'm learning when I want to inquire about something specific.
If it's videos/lectures I just run Vosk on them to generate srt files
>>
>he says in a language he plagiarized

Share the whole chat history
>>
>>102436959
not exactly worth the trillions dollars invested in it though especially when you factor the upcoming absolute copyright lawsuit armaggedon.
>>
yea, it's kinda too similar sometimes
I've had copilot copy an entire function from stackoverflow, and then when I was about to add the link copilot generated the correct stackoverflow link too
I think it's more weird how intact it is, compared to image ais that also copy from real image but never manage to fully replicate the original
but the power of copilot is how well it rephrases shit, you can copy a fully typedef'd code into a comment and copilot will generate the same code but with the correct normal types
>>
I'm a bit slow on the uptake and absolutely retarded, but it just clicked that CharGPT is the world's most expensive (to operate) search engin that also lies all the time.
>>
>>102434127
Every time you download a local model, you are literally causing BILLIONS of dollars in damages from the amount of STOLEN copyrighted content inside.

Share the chat link to remove any possibility of any fuckery
>>
>>102440719
Nigger just go on duck.ai, pick GPT-4o and type in "say a fun fact"
>>

So you had to resort to fuckery for copium
>>
>>102440784
How so? It uses the same model as the anon who originally made this discovery, it's just that I'm not going to give openAI my email address just so I can win an argument online.
>>
>>102440804
You dont have to login though, openAI removed mandating email login for using chatgpt, you can use it as a guest account and the chat url doesnt share any identifiable data

You mean slower Google?
>>
>>102437492
You're probably the only one who actually read the code.
>>
>ask ChatGPT to provide basic example code twice
>the code is the same
>how could this happen???
>>
>>102440883
That anon is either using an earlier prompt or editing it from inspect element to fake a point
>>
>>102434169
ye, and a great debugger too, sad they are gonna figure it out and paywall it even further
>>

Don’t make the coolest software ever because lawyers might come after us
>faggot
>>
>>102438255
Copilot has access to internet.
>>
>>102434127
All it does is just pull the first result off of google.
>>
Everything is copying from somewhere else and that's okay, GPT-* should be copy-able too.
>>
>implying that article wasn't also ai generated slop
>>
>>102434127
Of course it does, where else will it get its information? It's a great tool if you want to save hours of research and avoid bickering with assholes about code you need help with. If you're going spend money on it, use you.com, it has all of the big models and cheap as fuck.
