It's a generic, silent, comfy keyboard, what do you mean join pain?
>>102438324
I'm OP and I'm also using this. It's the perfect keyboard.
>>102438385
why? the feedback is nice, the keys are silent and the design is pretty, not crowded and the travel distance is perfect.

I use the same cherry keyboard for - more or less - two decades now. These things last forever, are cheap, silent and very comfy.
>>
>>102440406
What I like about office keyboards is that they're pretty fucking tough and durable if you're not punching it in a fit of rage when playing whatever game zoomers play nowadays. Silent keys = best keys.
>>
>>102438179
I NEED volume wheel, though

>Dell KB216
I need something that won't fall apart in 3 months or less
And since I play video games casually I need something that won't shit the bed when I press more than 3 keys simultaneously i.e. W+D+Shift+Spacebar.

>>102438385
Same. I also worked in a 100+ workstations office with Dell machines where KB216 was the standard supplied keyboard. Everyone hated it, especially because it often didn't even last 2 months without issues or just dying, and depending on key combination even 3 simultaneous presses make it shit the bed. Sometimes they came DOA with new machines or when Dell sent a new one under warranty.

>why? the feedback is nice, the keys are silent and the design is pretty, not crowded and the travel distance is perfect.
Yes these are its good points, it's a nice keyboard when brand new out of the box - assuming you don't use it for even light casual gaming, and don't have the habit of using key combo shorcuts in office apps. And assuming it isn't DOA (which in my experience happened more often than acceptable).
Even when everything works the keypress feedback is nice when brand new, but they turn into pure mush in 2 months

I have that one. Keys feel like crap versus a similar Lenovo keyboard I have and especially versus my Ubotie keyboard. Dell sucks if you spend too little these days, lesson learned.

arthritis
Could be due to that much damn typing, or he does not type with his wrists in the air. Occasional breaks are important, too. We aren't robots, even if our corporate overlords like to pretend we are.

i have the Q5 tho which is the more expensive version. couldn't speak to the feel of the cheaper ones that otherwise look the same, but I hear they're built really nice for the price.

>>102449634
Alright thank you, I am eyeing very bad the cheap options from them but they literally all have trade-offs which turns me off, might wait until Christmas to get myself a nice Q or something

Just swap fn and ctrl in firmware? Bonus is it makes people who can't touch type seethe when they try to use your keyboard.
>>
>>102451178
??
I asked about the 'disattachability' of the wrist pad as with use the pad's foam gets rather grim, i.e, craters form in the foam where one keeps one wrist and overall gross & sticky, etc.
>>
>>102451178
You are a retard if you do not type with your wrists in the air, in line with your palms, not above or below. Same as piano players.
