>somebody steals your phone/pc
how fucked up are you?
>>
>>102439022
They'll have to get my xorg.conf working first.
>>
>>102439022
meh, I'd buy another one

stop being poor
>>
None, I might finally have a reason to buy a new phone
All my data is already backed up, the only possible issue is a data breach or something since my bootloader is unlocked
>>
>>102439022
claim it on my insurance and get on with my life
>>
buy new iphone
restore icloud backup
all data is restored
remotely wipe old phone while keeping it locked
>>
>>102439022
not at all since I'm no NPC
>>
>>102439022
PC is encrypted so as long as it was off I just lost everything I haven't backed up, 1-2 weeks of work + the hardware.

Phone is less secured and could be a headache. Like I'm logged into some shopping sites with payment info saved, mostly credit card so I could get any charges reversed, reclaim my phone number. Would have to change a lot of passwords.
>>
I'll be fine
https://grapheneos.org/faq#encryption
>>
>>102439180
Yeah ultimately phone would be more time consuming to feel cleaned up after losing to persons of unknown maliciousness but it wouldn't cause any permanent damage.
>>
Just fucking lol at encryptlets
>>
>>102439022
I'm not scanning that shit
>>
>>102439022
i scanned it
its bbc fetish shit
>>
>countless GB of femboy/tranny porn
>pics of my naked ass
>lots of 4chan copypastas
I will be fine.
>>
>>102439022 (OP)
i scanned it
its brazilian scat porn
>>
>>102439022
>it's 'p
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODS
>>
>>102439022
No problem. Everything is backed up. My passwords are long and saved in Bitwarden. The PC is full disk encrypted. I have two phones and two PCs and I'm not a kind of person who loses a phone or a laptop.
>>
i hope they enjoy porn then
>>
>>102439022
Ideally use fingerprint unlock, use a long password, don't save anything on your phone and laptop. It would be like stealing a Nokia with nothing on it. Write down your IMEI number so you can give it to the police if your phone gets stolen.
>>
>>102439022
I'm 46, so nothing - I don't conduct a miserable facsimile of a "life" through electronic devices because I'm afraid of people.
>>
>>102439022
Many normies use this 'find my device' feature that tracks them constantly. I assume this feature can locate the owner's phone even after a factory reset. If not the police can geolocate the IMEI number. That's why you never steal a phone.
>>
>>102439022
depends if they're also a connoisseur of gay furry porn. otherwise, there's not much to loose :3
>>
>>102439180
all android phones come encrypted by default since like 2016
...are you running it without a passcode or something? why would you protect your pc but not your phone? doesn't make any sense
>>
>>102439022
If someone steals your phobe anx your give the police your IMEI maybe the police will actually pay the thieve a visit. They could easily do it if they had time for it but they're probably very busy. If there are people who steal phones for a living they probably sell them on the black market in other countries.
>>
>>102439022
For some people getting a long Bitwarden password tattooed behind the lip might make sense for their security model. It allows you to use more complicated passwords.
>>
>>102439022
big since I've got no password
>>
>>102442143
I've been trying to figure out to remember passwords:
Phone PW: 12345678
PC PW: (Phone PW)abcdefg!
Bitwarden PW: (PC PW)hijklmnop!
On your thigh there's a normal looking tattoo that can be decrypted with logic to get an E-mail and the Bitwarden password. Everything should be easily rememberable but hard to brute force using key phrases. If you have the Bitwarden password you know all other Passwords by subtracting parts of it and you never forget.
>>
>>102442510
Every password ends with an exclamation point which is not part of the tattoo. If you need to change passwords you replace it with a question mark.
>>
>>102439022
they'd probably be disappointed considering my old hardware.
>>
>>102439022
>phone
eh, the battery will run out in 15 minutes
>laptop
eh, the config is broken
>home computer

Not by much, actual sensible data is encrypted and i have a backup of everything, i just have to change 5 password tops (the email synced in thunderbird, steam and the mozilla sync one i use for the normalfag shit).
>>
>>102439022
>phone
It's locked and i can remote wipe it easily, my employer would pay for a new one.
>pc
It's encrypted so it's mostly my wallet that is fucked when i need to get a new PC and try to get my insurance to pay me back.
>>
>>102439022
quite, that's why I can't allow it
>>
>>102446623
im afraid to put it into translator
is this.....?
>>
>>102439022
>How fuck..
Not at all.i just use my phone or PC to remote into real cool kid PC locked away in my private PC dungeon at home
>>
>>102439022
Not at all, unless they know my 25 digit passcode on my phone, or my 38 character password to decrypt my laptop.
>>
>>102439027
based arch aficionado
>>
>>102439022
>report phone stolen
>get new phone
>everything is backed up on icloud
Nbd
>>
>>102439022
im more afraid of my family coming into possession of my pc and phone after death than some rando stealing them
>>
have you nigs considered that encrypting your shit immediately makes you suspicious to cops
>>
>>102449351
It's gibberish, as I said, base32768
>>
>>102450474
base32768 is not an encryption
>>
>>102450530
I know, the files themselves are encrypted, I use base32768 for obfuscation
