I don't use my phone for anything but the standard text/call, some lite web browsing/YouTube, hot spot tether on occasion and to interface with my OBD scanner which also supports iOS. My biggest concern is how does apple car play work compared to android auto which I use for navigation (google maps). I'm also concerned I'll get it and not like iOS though it's not like I'm on my phone 24/7 so it probably wouldn't matter. I've replaced my pixel 6 pro 3 times now due to various issues and have missed important notifications because they're sometimes delayed on the pizel. It aint here, man. Used to have a LG Stylo V6, and god was that music app the shit. No ads, no playback issues, could handle ogg, mp4, wav, you name it. Shuffle worked like an actual shuffle feature, and you had no limit on skips, playing previous songs, or all that jazz.

Z-Flip 6 is a cute phone and they market it for the portability/fun factor which is why they have so many pastel colors.

My wife likes hers because it easily fits into pockets as well as it reminds her of her first flip phone. Selfies are really cool as well due to the back screen. I like the spigen liquid air if you can find it available. Not the prettiest or most rugged, but it doesn't add bulk to the phone, prevents rocking on a table, is easy to take on or off, and is very comfortable to grip and hold.
For protector I use an allegedly official Samsung protector a guy installed on my S23 for 5 euro in his phone accessories shop. It has a tiny cutout for the front-facing speakers, unlike the no-name 10 euro protector I got at a different store that cracked in 6 months.

The problem with tiny phones is that contemporary launchers, icon sets, apps etc. are not made for them. So you got a nice tiny phone but using it is rather shitty. I used to own an LG Vine Smart, an Android flip phone that also had a touchscreen. The screen was so tiny that it sucked a hairy ass to use it. The issue with Samsung is that their $150 Galaxy A15 and their $800 Galaxy S24 look the exact same from the back. It's the exact same stale design (I guess it's thermally efficient?) from the last few years, used across the majority of their lineup. You have to go to the very low (A06) or very high (Ultra/Fold) end to get some variety.
The average person on the street probably wouldn't be able to tell I have an S23 at a glance, because it could be anything from an A14 all the way up to the S24, even the S25 when it comes out.

got a Xiaomi 9T Pro when it came out.
loved that the front facing camera was mechanically hidden, leaving the screen without a fucking notch, island or punch hole and with gorilla glass 5 I didn't even bother putting on a protector.
I never made use of all the performance, never played a single game and pretty quickly rooted it to get proper ad blocking.
it "only" came with 128GB of storage, but I never managed to fill it up fully.
it overheated occasionally (showing a temperature warning), but this summer it got so hot that the glue holding the back plate became loose.
today it finally stopped working.
looked at other phones and all of them have shitty notches, islands or punch holes.

I'll probably get a Motorola Edge 30 now.
the CPU is a bit better in some aspects, and worse at others, but pretty much on par, so it should be at least no degradation.
the screen has a punch hole (fuck, but what can you do) and gorilla glass 3 instead of 5, though it has a higher refresh rate.
anyone heard something bad about it?
