Can you set the quality? Distance 1 is nice for personal saving but Distance 2-4 would probably be better for sharing.

It's actually Adobe who is based.They included jpeg-xl in their DNG format (which is called "ProRAW" here).Every software that supports RAW files is now also supporting jpeg-xl, which includes libraw.They all get it via the Adobe DNG SDKhttps://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/dng-sdk.htmlAnd Samsung uses it as well. Samsung phones also make pictures as jpeg-xl when you chose their RAW option.In the future, all cameras that want good Adobe Software support will make pictures as jpeg-xl.
