this guy was telling me about an old attack devised by or used by some programmer or engineer at Oracle or Sun wherein the electrical connection to your PC's power supply would be subtly modified upstream somewhere to damage your processor by remotely undervolting it or orchestrating repeated brownouts.
is this just a bunch of gobbledigook or was there a kernel of credibility to this idea
