I recently found out I can get a paid tuition to ASU Online through Uber (I'm a driver and not Indian), so I started browsing their degrees a few weeks ago... long story short, I've been talking to a recruiter and got my transcripts sent over and could literally be starting a Computer Science degree starting next month.
What kind of classes do you take? What should I expect? Exactly how difficult is it? What are the most difficult classes? I took a very easy beginners programming class in high school (Visual Basic) and have completed some very basic online courses for Javascript, C++, and Python, also messed around with Lua in Love2D game engine. I'm 34, feel like I'm jumping into something completely different, but on the other hand I really don't want to be an Uber driver for the rest of my life (because I'm not Indian)
How many of you have a CS degree? What was college like? Was it worth it?

You won't get a CS job, wagie, not even people with a masters on it are.

If I learn enough to start my own solo tech business, I would much rather do that. I hate working for other people

Sorry Pepe, but I draw the line at having cars on your head. Food, okay fine, but that's it!
