Unless you go out of your way to somehow manually "disperse" the PAR2 files between other files on the disc, DVDisaster will hold up better to the kind of damage an optical disc might face.PAR2's been most useful for me on DDL sites and Usenet. When one RAR out of 50 has corruption, bam PAR2 fix.
