There's basically no reason to stand up. Most animals that can afford it just crawl. Four legs is more efficient.Look into the reasons bipeds evolved to walk on two legs. Meerkats go biped when they want a higher field of view to avoid predators. Monkeys go biped to free their hands to use tools or navigate trees.Humans are persistence hunters. Bipeds are actually more energy efficient on long term (plus we can sweat so we dont have to stop and rest except to sleep, you can actually walk forever without stopping.)Give it a reason to stand up.
