>What is DALL-E 3?
It's a text-to-image generator made by OpenAI.

>How does it work on Bing?
In Bing's Image Creator, "boosts" are used to speed up the image creation process, each user starts with 15 boosts. When you use a boost, the AI creates your image quickly. If you run out of boosts, the image waiting time can increase, usually if you refresh the page you can get the picture earlier.

by message you meant the prompt?
"low side view of goat-horned scared tiger lion priest with rags and collar rusty inside belts manacles with tied up in back forest on hobbles iron chair yoke"

I confuse the prompt pre-filter with word salad and then occasionally the dog lets through some of what I'm looking for

Or, if you meant what's the idea behind the pic, there isn't one. I'm just trying to create some furry porn.

Apropos of last thread - another bit of testing de3 via the old bing image creator vs imagen3 via the gemini chat; same prompt in each case.

Even if it could do the art, the image size is tiny.

>Here sometimes I get the impression that they're a replacement for open-carry of firearms, something that people decide to in get in order to look tough.
They are the dog of choice for those that gamble on dogfights, an ancient activity that still persists among lower-class people of most races (but especially in the US with blacks, mexicans, and the very poorest tier of rednecks). This is primarily what the breed was bred for. They are purposefully selected by centuries of gamlbers to being good at killing other dogs.
Because anybody who gambles on dogfights also tend to engage in other criminal activities, they are the guard-dog of choice for people engaged in the illegal drug trade.
Consequently, for upper-middle-class young white women, these dogs are a substitute for the thug boyfriend they wish they had but would be ashamed to be seen with in polite company.
And, finally, yes, for a lot of men a replacement for a lost sense of feral violent masculinity that they might not even know enough to realize they've lost.

Don't. I read once a benchmark of internet browsers in some Mac magazine. The conclusion was "there are many good browsers but we Mac users want something of our own so we choose Safari." Remember, Mac users have what they want (or at least what have they been told by Apple that they want.)

I had read some complaints earlier and just checked it out myself, and it's pretty dreadful. For some bizzare reason, you can no longer attach files that aren't .png or .svg. I guess they need that nuclear power plant to deal with all the angry complaints coming in. Thankfully, it seems they haven't decided to mess with designer's interface .. yet.

For now, at least. New users are few and far between, while most old users are either completely burnt out or at least much less likely to prompt as heavily as months ago. One just needs to look at how these threads have slowed down across multiple boards.

I blame the current stasis, BIC/Designer has been actually castrated by Microsoft in several ways (filters, generation steps, prompt understanding), but one year after the release of Dalle3 there's no new model that can definitely surpass it.
>>102809896
Yeah, just after Designer was made semi-useful again with the landscape/portrait thing, it'd be just a great idea to mess up with it. Anyway I suppose OpenAI, Google, etc. are going to be very glad about Microsoft messing up with Copilot. I never really liked it much because it looked way too slow in comparison to other assistants, but if they ruin even its interface and capacities, who's going to even use it?
