Hey guys, I was having a discussion with a friend and he said that you need to install the Cuda toolkit in order to use Flux. It is this correct? I didn't saw anything anywhere about this.

I've been using its image generator lately because my computer is too much of a potato to comfortably run SD locally.Also, does their anti-loli/shota rule apply to images from datasets, or only to stuff you post publicly? I want to make a LORA for a porn artist's underused OC, and she's a gigamilf but there are only 9 images of her and 4 of them are /ss/. I don't even know if this number is enough for training, but I got them all in the highest quality and already autistically tagged all of them.

>>102780294yeah there's a lot of garbage code, i prefer diffusers/transformers because they use type hints, but it's still not easy to just dive in, especially as time goes on because more and more is added, so i wouldn't worry if you don't understand every module, it all starts to make more sense the more you work with it, i've found a lot of this stuff uses fancy terminology and language for what are actually simple concepts. i'd say it's easier to learn from having a specific problem that you encounter as part of your project, rather than trying to learn everything all at once because depending on what your project is you don't necessarily need to understand everything. chatgpt is great for learning, it can help break things down in a way that you understand without all the fancy words. reading the code for different models is good too, even if you don't understand it exactly you can probably spot similarities and the common things that all the models are made up from, a lot of different architectures are like variations on the same thing. i believe anyone can learn this stuff, the key thing is that you're open to experimentation and keep tryingoh and it doesn't matter if your project isn't purely diffusion related, you should post about it anyway if you want, it's not like there's an /ai/ board, most posters won't mind and some might even find it interesting. i'm actually planning out a new project rn and i might post about it soon>>102780627very cute
