Whats the point of paying 1000$+ for a phone if it still shoves ads and government spyware in every app, with every update?
>buy xiaomi note 9 pro
>great for a cheap phone, enjoy the heck of it
>out of boredom decide to finally update it
>interface becomes iOS-que, same gay shit
>ads in every app, pop up ads, screens asking me to agree to shit
>every system app on update just has ads now and "Agree" screens.
>video player has ads
>music player has ads
>every app tries to sneak notification ads

at this point the phone needs a full lobotomization. its UNUSABLE
actual HARMFUL TECHNOLOGY.

Imagine paying and still being the product.
>>
whats the fucking point of updating system apps if the only new thing is integrated ads?
>the video player was playing videos fine before
>the audio player was playing audio fine before
>the camera app was working fine
>the timer app was working fine
>now they all have ads
>>
>>102865827
i mean i only paid like 200$ for the note 9 pro, because the xiaomi 11 had already came out
but its not like 1000$ phones dont have the same garbage software and ads.
i heard sony VAIO laptops used to come with a ton of adware shit bundled.
whats the point of paying 1000$ for a phone or 2000$ for a VAIO if you are getting the same harmful software garbage?

That's every smartphone on the market.
>>

At least with their Poco ones, it seems to be a great price for the specs you get. The stock ROM sucks balls though, so root it and either modify it to not suck or load a custom ROM.
Xiaomi Poco F9 Pro for instance has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 yet it performs way worse than other SD8G2 devices out of the box. Fix the ROM and it performs on par with them.

Samshit puts lockscreen ads when charging in some regions. And I only paid less than $300 for a xiaomeme. And the ads were quickly dealt with.
IOS babbies and their android counterparts get easily filtered by simple tasks.

There are Xiaomi phones that cost that much? And you paid 1k for one? And you couldn't disable the fucking ads?
Anon, I don't think the problem here is the phone...

Xiaomi 14 is the best phone I have ever had. Coming from Pixel 8, iPhone 15 Pro and S24 Ultra I have no issues. You can turn off ads in each app setting with a simple toggle and they will never turn back on. Only a few Xiaomi apps has them and its a non issue for anyone with IQ above 50. OP you are a fucking faggot who would cry about not being able to tie your own shoes. Go cry about something useful instead

Get the 150-300 dollar xiamois those are actually great price to performance

You're not supposed to pay more than 300$ for chinese phones..
Just remove all bloatware using adb

better than buying a $1000 phone and still being the product (OP's case)
my point could've been applied with lineageos too, which doesn't require a google device
>>
>>102869859
once you remove whatever ad-infested os your android came with, you kiss goodbye to security in the name of delusional privacy. hyperOS is more secure than lineageOS

Just put Adguard in the Private DNS field

>>102865814
This is why I don't use my phone as much as I should and why I leave it behind so my tracking data isn't quite as accurate (though really I just hate the advertisement and the calls by spam pajeets).
>>
>>102869868
>hyperos containing backdoors on purpose
yeah, I don't think any of them are secure per se, bud.

If you're fucking retarded enough to be using the stock ROM when there far better options available, then that's your problem. Even if you actually LIKE HyperOS/MIUI for some reason, there's the Xiaomi.eu custom ROM with all the shit removed and more features. Or you could just debloat the stock ROM yourself using the many tools available to do so. But instead you're whining on a Laotian barn dancing web chat because you lack the intelligence to help yourself, despite the fact that even your average street-shitting Pajeet can manage to unfuck a chinkphone.

Skill issue, i enjoy my redmi note 11s ad free, cope harder Stacy

don't use system apps they are shit anyway. Use adb to remove them or better yet buy a pixel from last year and you won't have to put up with that crap.

the flex cable in my phone broke after a year so i had to pop it open to replace it.

>>102865814
You are not a woman and nothing is going to change that. Stop pretending, your parents are extremely worried about to.
>>
>>102865814
MIUI was fucking horrid but their specs are goof gor the price. Custom ROMs are the way to go
>>
How hard is it to debloat it, not use the default apps and use a ad blocking dns? Alternatively you could just unlock the bootloader and check if there is any rom available. What did you expect when buying the cheapest phone with same specs as competition?
>>
>>102865814
Suits you for buying a Global ROM non Mi Xiaomi.
My Xiaomi Mi10 Ultra has no ads and it's completely stock.

I think it's some Indians that make the custom ROM but as long as it works fine I don't care, MIUI was too awful to keep using
