no, it's coming out shitty from the first ksampler
using sd3.5 with euler or deis + beta or simple @ 50 steps + cfg 5.5
if i upscale with highish denoise it can fix a bit but then the background goes completely blurry
>not that it matters since the first ksampler doesnt even make a background half the time
i pretty much cant use any styling words or a negative prompt or it goes to shit and i'm blaming comfyui for this lel

mmh well if they turned out fine before then it got borked work from there but I'm sure you idd that,
Maybe add the wildcard text to a textbox next to the clip encoder so you can insert them quickly Manuel-ly , as to involve any new node that might blurr the picture, if I'm making sense

If the prompt itself induces blur well maybe you're shit out of luck, no flux girl with sharp dinosaurs for you today

The models with the best anatomy of the SD1.5 era would just show unprompted nudity at random, it seems to be a real problem (NSFW for innocent prompts) and the reason they have to cuck their model.
And the reason Dalle 3's dog exist, probably it's drawing them naked now and then when asking for little girls.
>>
>>102973166
>models with the best anatomy of the SD1.5 era would just show unprompted nudity at random
I don't see why this is a problem as long as you can prompt it out later. It has to learn off of something as we do when learning how to model/draw anatomy.
>>
>>102972975
comfy can (not always) be faster because it doesnt unload models between gens and for most workflows you can change one node and it doesnt regenerate the whole thing, just from that node forward
that being said, certain nodes will break that and you have to manually unload models or you OOM every gen
forge just werks
>>
>>102972498
>Can you merge models without losing data from both?
Yes, Super Merger Add Difference Train Difference Alpha 1. You set Model A, Model B, and the base model as C. Swapping Model A and B gives different results.
You'll lose data from their base due to catastrophic forgetting which apparently is a problem with neural networks themselves, so it's not unlike the halting problem, one without solution.
>>
>>102972077
More of that, but it's at least better than SDXL base, and can draw girls boobs natively.

interesting, while I'm by no means a crazy artist, the process of making something is what I enjoy more than the product y'know? it's like raising a kid from the ground up and seeing the fruits of your labor as opposed to adopting an 17 year old who's birthday is tomorrow (I guess a better example is the process of making food vs getting fast food)
>>
>>102973934
an artist has the advantage imho they can aim precisely for what they want to depict, if the artist has the skill to do that is the ceiling
With AI it's always a gamble, one can nudge in one's favour by using multiple methods to steer more precicely

>interesting, while I'm by no means a crazy artist, the process of making something is what I enjoy more than the product y'know?
That's what you think, try this:
Work on that piece you always wanted to do and spend some time until you think it's almost perfect and go to sleep. Next day, when you wake up, instead of doing the finishing touches, throw it into the trash, hit shift+delete so you can't recover it, see all the work gone like that.
How does it feel?
Well, if you enjoyed the process of making it, then it doesn't matter that it's gone, because you still had that, you had the enjoyment of doing it and nobody can take away from you.
If you feel awful, then you weren't enjoying the process, you were feeling the anticipation of achieving something, if the file is deleted, nothing was achieved, it was a waste of time, that's why losing it feels so awful.
Once you realize this, that what you enjoy is the satisfaction of seeing the piece finished, the challenge is to use AI to do more such pieces and feel more satisfaction, how many finished pieces can you have in the time you used to have one thanks to AI?
The trick is to use AI to fasten the process and finish more pieces, if you don't feel the satisfaction because it's too easy, next time you do it the hard way imagine you couldn't save it, would you still do it? Why not, if the process of doing it is what you enjoy?
You need to save it because you're not enjoying what you think you're enjoying, and once you can enjoy doing it the easy way, you'll understand why we're hooked to image generation.

You are doing it wrong, if the AI can make anything wonderful, then you can make it do precisely what you want, wonderfully, too, it just takes a different set of skills.
Imagine if image generators had good prompt adherence from the beginning and people could ask them what they wanted, what they imagined, we'd not have this generation of gacha game users that just send a random prompt to see what it does with it, other people don't use models like that.

the matrix effect is when robots feed us images of boobs? sounds good

I think what you're actually trying to get at is a concept called "hyperreality", where the lines between reality and simulated reality blur to an extend that people lose the capacity to differentiate one from the other. sometimes, the simulation seems more real than the reality. it comes from Simulacra and Simulation, written in 1981, which was a heavy influence on the tapestry of the matrix (and was shown on neo's bookshelf too)
>>
>>102974117
Yeah hyperreality is probably what I was looking for. (I was thinking of the matrix because of the whole red pill blue pill bit of reality being indistinguishable). Thanks anon!
>>
>>102974112
I enjoy the part of the creative process too, the part where I imagine something and make it appear on the screen, what you realize is that, just like you don't need oil and a brush, or a pencil to do that, you don't need to paint lines on the screen with your fingers or the mouse, or click vector points and draw lines and make them curves so they form it.
I mastered many methods of doing that, and sending a prompt and touching the image is a creative process you can do too.
AI is just a tool, don't think all people just copy a prompt and get a pic and call it a day, some of us are doing what your are doing with your process with the help of AI, it's just a so damn faster and easier way to put what we imagined on the screen.
>>
>>102974089
well we're getting there, I too would like exact precision, and with controlnet one can even insert sketches controlling the exact position of things,
it just needs to just get a little bit better still

doesn't red pill/blue pill make the opposite point? that reality and simulation are distinguishable and you can explicitly choose one or the other?

something I find funny is how many people on /tv/ or /pol/ or whatever would have taken the blue pill. "cypher did nothing wrong", "matrix living is comfy", "zion has too many minorities", etc. but I guess that's probably true of a lot of generative AI folks too. why drudge through the misery of reality just to score a 4/10 gf when you can prompt a new 10/10 waifu every 60 seconds instead
>>
>>102974167
Oh I've made ai art in the past actually. I understand there's a process to tweaking prompts and the effort that goes in. It's simply different ways of effort I suppose. Whereas you may need years of effort and multiple instruments for one product all you need is a device for the other.

That's what I was sort of saying. It's like if I got two identical meals side by side but one was made by my lover who watched a ton of tutorials and put special dedication to getting everything just right vs. a teenager at some restaurant mindlessly producing the meal for a paycheck. I'm gonna consider the one made by my lover to be more important. (The teenager in this example isn't representing Ai art, but rather mass produced stuff where the process is without care and consideration).

No, it's already there, if you can't put exactly what you imagine in the screen (or a better version you never imagined you could produde) with all the AI technology out there, it is you who needs to learn to use it.
Stable Diffusion 1.5 was enough to get me there back when it was released, I even was claiming people needing finetunes, loras and merges were lacking skill, though I used later technology to fasten the process even further.
Use AI to get 90% there and finish it, get 9 times the enjoyment of the creative process, don't be a slave to AI's compositions.
>>
>>102974252
>the process mattered
How do you know? A skilled AI Artist can go undetected and you have no idea how much effort they put into things.
I used to joke about this, I'd spend 8 hours working on an illustration until I was satisfied, and when people praised it I claimed I did it effortlessly and with a click.
Those jokes backfired years later when they thought I just used AI...

But that's the point. Even if it happens to be better it still is mindlessly produced. The teen didn't make it in mind for it to be served to his lover. He made it because that was he has to do for the job. He may be passionate, he may not, but at the end of the day he did it for the job. It lacks the sentimentality of making it personal.

but you're baking (heh) into the premise the idea that the 'mindless' production is of lower quality that the 'loving' one, which undermines the analogy you're making. of course people will want the higher quality product over the lower quality one. but what if they were of equal quality and you're blind taste-testing? do you have any confidence you could tell the difference? would it even matter?

whats the even greater quandary is: what if the 'mindless' production is higher quality than the 'loving' one? the teenager is just slapping a recipe together, but that recipe is a fusion of some of the best recipes in the industry. your lover will slave away with passion, never to challenge the perfect concoction of ingredients and instructions the mindless teenager has. you then have to choose between 'loving' mediocrity or 'mindless' brilliance. how much value does 'loving' bring to a product?

Or maybe he had done it since it was a child and now doing it perfectly doesn't require any thought.
He can do it mindlessly because he has perfected the craft and outdo anyone doing it for the love but with less experience.
That's the whole idea of training, with enough training the AI reaches the quality of a person doing it for the love of it, and with more training they're surpassed.
And then AI can do it effortlessly and in a fraction of the time.

I simply enjoy genuine connections (though there is a limit to how bad the cooking gets).
>>102974789
I'm not saying the mindless produced one is of a lower quality. In my example I tried to communicate they're of equal quality, it's simply the story behind the quality is what also matters to me. It's like even though money is money, how I get the money matters to me, I'm not gonna accept dishonest money because it simply goes against my values. I know this isn't applicable to everyone but there is an importance in how something came to fruition rather than just the product itself. Think of those cool fantasy stories where the protagonist has to go on an adventure to get the relic that will solve the problem. We watch for the story, not for the resolution.

At that point they're equal anon since I am ignorant of the process. But here's the thing anon, at least in America you know what you're ordering, what you're getting, and how it's made. There's always a story for the meal you're served. In the instances that I do not know the history, they're indistinguishable, but when I see who made what and their reason as to why, their values change significantly.

Yeah, and someone using AI as a tool to express their creative process shouldn't be ignored because you didn't like their stories.
The teenager was an orphan that had to learn to make meat to help his sick grandma and help a bit his big family that mostly depended on him and are greatly thankful that they're there, he's actually a composer of music that plays the guitar in a small pub where he met a girl and is hoping to from a family with her in the future.
But you don't care about that, you only care about how he made your meat.
You have no idea how much love and passion someone had or what went into a generated picture, you just imagine them inputting some text and clicking a button and that's their history to you, but it may be surprising pieces of art like the Mona Lisa were made mindlessly and for the money and their story are about someone wanting something and paying a commission for it.
As the story goes, Michelangelo hated every moment of painting the Sistine Chapel, he did it because he needed the money, art stories may not be what you think.

Because that what it is though anon. I've used AI generators in the past. You simply type something up and it generates it for you. It's like a vending machine where you get what you want. Now you may go through a process tweaking what you want, but ultimately YOU'RE not making/give it to you, the vending machine is. You simply created the order the vending machine had to follow.

Ah, here we stand once more, trapped in this echo chamber of brilliance—my brilliance, no less—forced, as it were, to converse with oneself. A tragedy of the highest order, akin to a composer of symphonic genius condemned to hum his own masterpieces to himself in solitude, for the audience is deemed unworthy or, worse, unavailable. we'd have never thought debo would be such a staunch Ka-MA-lah, wait that's not right, her name is from the duskiest of brown languages, so all syllables are the same... fuck it, she's only a single generation distant from the street shitting, train suicide enthusiasts from the subcontinent so... bravo to you good sir, too bad you won't avoid being imprisoned in crystal for 10 thousand years. btw if you put the stress on the KA part, you're a nazi. we don't make the rules
>>
you dirty white racists should, intrinsically, know how to pronounce even the most brownest of names. oh, their weird isolate language inspired by the ghost hominid admixture is alien to all other human language? YOU ARE A RACIST

it's a valiant effort, but you're using a neo-model and they're constitutionally incapable of creativity. the autists won, the new models will slavishly adhere to whatever you wrote, even if the result is terrible. true chads are still on 1.5, which doesn't give the least of a fuck about whatever you asked it for, it's gonna do whatever the fuck it wants, and if you weren't spoiled by best of best facebook IAI spam, you'd realize that the mediocre is, actually, better than the best.

Oh, what a travesty hath unfolded before mine ears! What a loathsome concatenation of the tritest banalities, a dismal droning in the form of verse, which, regrettably, fails to ascend beyond the meagerest heights of hackneyed cliché. I am afflicted, dear reader, by the grievous misfortune of having been subjected to these so-called "lyrics," a burden which compels me now to dissect their every flaw with all the disdain and vitriol they so thoroughly merit.

And what, pray tell, does the chorus offer us, beyond the fetid stench of pedestrian sentiment masquerading as profundity? “Look around now, if you dare to see,” it implores, as though it were unveiling some forbidden truth hitherto unobserved by lesser minds. Alas, this is no great revelation, but merely a tiresome echo of a sophomoric grumble: that society, poor thing, is insufficiently appreciative of brilliance, and that some shadowy “unseen hands” have laid it low. How quaint! How unutterably naïve! As though the forces which conspire to smother true genius were anything but plain and vulgar, as though the extinguishing of greatness were some grand conspiracy rather than the inevitable consequence of doltishness allowed to proliferate unchecked.

The outro, with its ceaseless repetition of “forever” and “amen,” is nothing more than a nauseating display of gratuitous self-pity. If the intention was to evoke a sense of unending despair, it only succeeds in evoking a sense of unending tedium. The notion of a “pit with no bottom” is a child’s conception of despair, lacking the gravitas or the philosophical rigor to render it worthy of any serious consideration. And the excessive repetition—ah, the blessed monotony!—serves not to drive home any point, but to drag the listener into the mire of tedium from which there is indeed no escape.

only you are exempt, btw.
