If you have multiple accounts logged onto the same client and one of them gets banned, what happens to the other accounts?I just learned that the discord client on desktop can handle multiple accounts at once. All this leads to a single question, if one of those accounts gets banned on that client what happens to the other accounts? How would it even look like?
>>103104293just don't get banned, anon.
>If you have multiple accounts logged onto the same client and one of them gets banned, what happens to the other accounts?I'm not sure about discord, but I'm logged into two accounts of xitter and one of them got locked for a while, the other was perfectly fine and unrestricted
>>103104328I haven't been banned in a while. My first discord ban was in 2018.
>>103104293they all get banned toothat's why you use discord, discord-ptb, discord canary, vesktop, or any other client simultaneously
>>103104293>If you have multiple accounts logged onto the same client and one of them gets banned, what happens to the other accounts? It may be banned if the violation is serious enough. See bottom of the FAQ: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/4412732047127-Discord-Account-Switcher-FAQ>How would it even look like? Most likely you will get logged out of the banned account and Discord client will ask you to choose different account from your logged in accounts.
>>103104542>It may be banned if the violation is serious enough. See bottom of the FAQ: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/4412732047127-Discord-Account-Switcher-FAQThank you for giving this support article. What should I do if I intend to use multiple accounts at once while also intending to minimise the risk of them getting banned?
>>103104527>that's why you use discord, discord-ptb, discord canary, vesktop, or any other client simultaneouslythank you for mentioning these clients. This solves another one of my problems simultaneously.Where could I get a complete list of all the discord clients which can be used on desktop? And what about mobile? I use 5 there and one of them is not very functional.Do you know how I could use plugins like message loggers and ability to view and access hidden channels? I am asking since you seem to be knowledgeful. If you do not know especially what I am asking about then could you atleast tell me where I can ask about this?
>>103104293How about you stop being a pedophile and you won't get banned?
>>103104773I am having the exact opposite problem. I say that trannies are mentally ill men who mutilate themselves.
>>103104328I've been banned twice without explanation now, I don't even chat in any servers I'm a part of.
>>103104818Also this. You get banned for just being on a server as a regular user, not an admin.
>>103104673>What should I do if I intend to use multiple accounts at once while also intending to minimise the risk of them getting banned? In order to minimize the risk of your Discord accounts being banned, you should abide by the terms and policies of the Discord program in all uses of the Discord program. You should also allow the discord administrative staff to conduct harassment and assault upon you at their whims and never complain about this to anyone. In addition, answer all questions they have and be certain to voluntarily supply all information pertaining to their questions with full enthusiasm. Failure to comply with these simple requests may result in action taken against your account and termination of your account.
>>103104673I would use Bubblewrap and create desktop shortcut or shell alias so each account would have its own data (and optionally separate cache) folder. Keep in mind that Discord will probably use many different methods if they really want to ban your other accounts.
>>103105107>I would use Bubblewrapwhat program is this? I haven't been able to find anything about this.>create desktop shortcut or shell alias so each account would have its own data (and optionally separate cache) folder.I intend for each account to use plugins which log messages sent, received and how they were modified and also let me view channels which I am not supposed to if not even letting me access them.
>>103104293>I just learned that the discord client on desktopDude, just telnet to an IRC server that hasn't been updated since the '90s and type in all the raw IRC protocol commands, like a real man. I'm tired of you whippersnappers.
>>103105259>what program is this? I haven't been able to find anything about this. https://github.com/containers/bubblewraphttps://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Bubblewrap
>>103105280sorry. It needs to be discord.
>>103105672is this available for windows too?
>>103106169Lmao
>>103106817I do not use linux.
>>103106151Just use it in a browser? Get VPN or proxy if you are concerned about the IP as well.
>>103104328The tranny jannies on discord ban you for literally everything. If you join a server, you get verification bots and jannies demanding you say shit about yourself. If you don't do these, you won't get in ever again
>>103107313I still do not know what this app does.
>>103107264Then perhaps look up sandboxie. But if I were you, I'd just install Firefox and log in to Discord via the web for your "risky" account and pipe it through a proxy to mask your IP. You can also split tunnel with a VPN, but if you are asking these questions you may not want to configure something like that.
