I generally don't trust anyone who doesn't post the official PNG.

You can edit the HTML on the page to put whatever speed you want. The PNG is much harder to fake.

Which altnet are you using?
Until Openreach faggots upgrade their shit the most I can get is 900/120. Apparently, EE does 2.5 gig now but it's still asynchronous with the upstream limited to 120 mb/s. Completely pointless.

small provider in the capital of a 3rd world country (big providers are shit).
fully unmetered and nothing is blocked/limited (i.e. net neutral).
24/7 timely support including holidays (rarely needed).
you can switch to faster or cheaper plans without issue.

It's Bell which offers 3/3 service, a quick google search would tell you it's real, retard. They used to offer 8/8 as well but rage removed the plan when the CRTC did something they didn't like.

No, because the PNG is generated by speedtest.

You'd have to open up a photo editor to edit it, and that kind of editing is easier to tell.

Also if you post the raw PNG with the proper file name, you can type that into speedtest and see the result there.

For example.

Pic related >>103222559
The filename is 17023881148.png, If you go to speedtest.net/result/17023881148.png you'll see the exact same thing.

Anyone posting without this proof is potentially lying.

bold of you to assume how other use their internet connections

i'm so happy wyyerd came into my area. $95 for 1gbps up and down with ZERO data caps and my connection doesn't degrade at all. even during "peak hours." previously i was with cox paying $150 a month for a 600mbps connection with no data cap because i was paying an extra $50 to remove the data cap. and during "peak hours" my speed would degrade. i hated cox so fucking much.

they also rolled out 5gbps and 2gbps into my area but i'm happy with the 1gbps connection. its nice to have the savings and being way faster than my old cox connection.

in my area, they got 5000/5000 for $100 a month for 12 months
it’s crazy how fast fiber is for the same price
>>
>>103232726
if i had a 10gbps ethernet adapter, for $100 i would sign up for a 5gbps connection. the adapter on my motherboard tops off at 2500. even that still blows me away.
i really thought about going the 2000 for $150 since that was the same price i was paying cox for 600mbps but 1gbps is plenty for me. the savings is really nice.
as a company i have nothing but praise for wyyerd. their customer service and techs are so much nicer and helpful than cox ever was. and they even paid for the fiber install and all the equipment was free and you own it. they don't do renting stuff at all like how cox did. cox everything had a fee. you had to pay extra if you wanted techs to come out. was so fucking terrible.
funny thing is, after wyyerd moved into my area, cox a few months later finally rolled out fiber but they wanted $130 WITH A DATA CAP for the same 1gbps i have with wyyerd with zero data caps for $95. cox is pure garbage.

Of course, I generally don't doubt anything 1gbps or less anyway.

Could be worse. At least the speeds are set to increase next year and get cheaper.
