How is it legal for Logitech to deliberately block you from using their Logitech Gaming Software program with a G502 and forces you to use their (shitty) new app called G Hub?
And yes, they DO block you because when you install it offline IT WORKS WITHOUT PROBLEM, once you go online it SUDDENLY DOESN'T, so you're forced to use your firewall to block it from going online
And YES that is a problem because in their new G Hub app you CANNOT bind Ctrl and Shift to the on-board memory (they won't work) MEANWHILE while using their """old""" LGS software it MAGICALLY works
What the fuck is this jew shit?

You signed the EULA didn't you? If you don't like it make your own, retard.
>>
>>103223161
It did work offline and now that my on-board memory is set up I uninstalled it, no point in needing it anymore
Still that is disgusting
>>103223158
Their hardware is good, been using them for decades and it's still working perfectly

Fucking jew, if the EULA said they could rape me that would make it okay then? Fuck you

that's what you get from not buying from razer
>>
>>103223149
Never used the old software but I managed to make Ctrl and Shift work by binding it as a combo with something unused like F24
>>

i bought a used left hand naga for 30 bux and it didn't need the synapse malware, so i've been pretty happy with it
the onboard memory doesn't remember rgb settings but it does remember "rgb off"
>>
>>103223149
You are retarded for using windows in the first place.
I use piper on linux to configure my G502, it gets the full job done without the nonsense.
>>
>>103223149
This is why I stopped using Logitech mice, Logitech Gaming Software was good and lightweight while the GHub sucks balls, it's literally like an autistic made it, that's how bad the UI is. Even Synapse is better now lmao.

nta I configured the 3 profiles of my g600 and never installed that shit anymore.

It has been like 7 years from that.
these things having internal memory is the best.

This is honestly a top 5 reason why I switched to Linux. If you're the sort of person who gets upset when your mouse driver gets replaced with a dogshit Electron app, Windows is not the OS for you. Even if you solve this one problem, the enshittification of things you care about (but normalfags don't notice) will continue.

Why do you use that when onboard memory manager exists?
>>
>>103223361
the one time i bought razer the mouse didnt work at all and i had to troubleshoot it online (the solution was holding m1+m2 as the computer booted...)

something tells me i had the mouse version of the AyyMD experience
>>
>>103223361
Gayzer has annoyances too
My Basilisk X Hyperspeed drains batteries like crazy and the usb receiver has to be just a few centimeters away or it'll just do random shit and lose connection

A G502 is 40 bucks
>>
>>103223513
When are they going to start doing left handed mice again?
>>
>>103224514
weird. my razer mouse has worked for 10 years and it's still going strong
>>103224544
>drains batteries
why would you ever get a wireless mouse
>>
>>103225133
>why would you ever get a wireless mouse
it's just more convenient and I'm not pulling anything, input lag is minimal and imperceptible depending on the model, and battery life can be good in different mice
My G502X charges quickly and I often forget I even have to do so
>>
>>103225162
it looks nicer but definitely not more convenient and doesn't have less input lag.
>>
>>103225197
I don't give two fucks about looks, I don't understand how it's not convenient. If you never yanked on a mouse cable you've never used a mouse for gaming, so you don't need to bother with any of these mice. It's a thing you move. Wireless is always more convenient there. It's not like a keyboard.
I never said it had less input lag, I'm saying it has none that can be perceived.
>>
>>103225248
mouse cables are long so it's not an issue. you don't have to charge or anything just plug and it works every single time no matter the OS.
>>
>>103225313
It is if you want to keep your shit tidy and not feel the cable around bumping against random things like your monitor stand. There's a reason they sell these shits.
>>
>>103223149
the correct act is to return the product and use another company's mouse. I expect these guys want to move to a subscription model.

Hey quick question, have they added the g-shift button option that lets you have different bindings on all buttons depending on if the g-shift key is pressed or not?

I'm also using piper but about a year ago it was not possible so I ended up using a windows machine to create a profile and I don't want to open piper again and risk my profile from being overridden. (everything else worked great on piper it was just this g-shift feature that was missing)

that’s because you haven’t bought anything made by them since covid. I dare you to do so
>>
>>103226270
They are deliberately blocking it for no reasons, this should be illegal
It works fine but suddenly THEY decide you cannot use it, despite it perfectly working
