Comparison of how much vertical space different browsers take.
Chromium vs FF (which is already in compact mode) vs Zen
>>
>>103223363
Buy an ad, nobody will use your meme browser reskin, if I wanted vertical tabs I would just install an addon
>>
>>103223381
I wouldn't even recommend using Zen, nigga. Only if you know how to block all the requests it makes to Mozilla sites. Out of the box it still has some of the Firefox spy shit.
I just like compact UIs.
>>
safari does it best
>>
>>103223363
you can make firefox look like this (tabs and url in a single line) very easy but I don't like it

Peak UI/UX design right there.
>>
>>103223503
You can still navigate with key bindings, which I do in any other browser anyway.

Yes. With key bindings I meant that I don't go to the url bar with my mouse, I just press Ctrl + L and it appears automatically. For the rest of the time I don't need it.
>>
>>103223665
You can turn off the round borders

buy an ad, faggot.

safari
>>
>>103224062
Sidebery takes too much horizontal space. Also I don't need all that hierarchy thing.
>>
vertical tabs only work for hoarders, normal people prefer horizontal
>>
I want to use safari but the extensions are so shit.
To even get started I have to spend 5$ for wipr 2 and hope that block yt ads don't just release wipr 3 in a year and drop support.
Then spend another 3-5 for dark reader. Then hope there is something for cookies, then hope sponsorblock is there, etc etc
>>
>>103224062
itoddlers do have some nice looking software
sad it spies on you
>>
>>103224572
Nah, I'm not a hoarder. It's just that a screen has way more horizontal space available than vertical. So why take away from that little that is there? On most websites a lot of horizontal space is not used anyway, so might just as well have a tab bar there.

Get AdGuard instead of Wipr. There is SponsorBlock and DeArrow. I don't know exactly what you need with cookies. I really like AutoCookie Delete, but unfortunately it's not on Safari. There's an app that can do all the features AutoCookie Delete can do and more, but it costs around $35 if I remember correctly, so I haven't bought it. I use websites that require login or cookies in normal browsing, while for websites where cookies aren't necessary, I use private browsing. Private browsing offers exceptionally good privacy features compared to any other browser.

>>103223827
does palemoon still use the classic ui?
>>
>>103224182
Just Ctrl + E to hide it
>>
firefox has vertical tabs now too
>>
>>103225198
Yes of course that's the whole point.
>>
>>103225303
Is it only in Nightly? Can't find it in the settings.
>>
>>103225099
maan idk it's 12$ for sponsorblock, dearrow, tapermonkey and darkreader
>>
>>103225052
how to get tab groups ?!??!
also what's that thing at the bottom of the tab panel?
>>
is there a way to make zen browser new tab transparent like in safari?
>>
>>103225476
it sucks but at the end of the day it's worth it. safari is a great browser and it does offer few extensions but you can be sure they are safe.
>>
>>103225357
yeah i think so
>>
>>103225491
sorry this is just a concept posted by Zen twitter
