Once Windows 10 support is done so are drivers. Your new RTX 5090 or RX 8800XT won't be able to install drivers on Windows 10. Only Windows 11 & Linux it says directly on the box.

You would need modded drivers to get it up and running but that's getting into broken territory like old ati/gtx cards now which bsod your system or just doesnt support the actual DirectX features.

I got to use Windows 7 yesterday, it was nice. But the laptop battery its on is fully dead so I shall just harvest some parts to sell. Probably worth more piecemeal than as as a 2010 laptop with no battery.
