I remember trying to figure this out and getting completely lost. The tutorials certainly don't go over everything. What kind of knowledge and skill is required to essentially hack any aspect of a video game?

Learn how a computer works.Learn C/C++ and x86 assembly.Learn how memory works, the stack, the heap, etc.Learn to use tools like a debugger, a disassembler/decompiler.Learn patience.Learn how to not be retarded.

>>103224972there's a billion cheat engine tutorials on youtubewatch any of them
>>103224972you're probably not making anything advanced in cheat enginedownload IDA and start reversing some shitty game. hook functions and fuck around
>>103224972Based filename
>>103224972You need to know how to able to build your x86-asm scripts to manage exotic types and automate shit at the very least and to make life easy. Also get familiar with how to use a debugger, you'll need it to figure out some of those exotic types too. Cheat engine has a good one but gdb or x64-dbg/x32-dbg (I know that the naming convention is wrong) are better.Speed hack is useful but it doesn't always work. Finally, while "being able to hack any game" is a very reaching aim that nobody has ever breached - and this would setup you to be good enough to cheat is many permissive ways on most singleplayer and some less secure multiplayer games - learn reverse engineering and decompilation. It's an entire discipline and not a tool or trick, so it's going to be difficult but it'll get you a lot more power at your fingertips. A good place for beginners would be to start looking at a tool like Ghidra. It's going go be a learning curve and I cannot give any material because it's just logic for me and I learnt it that way, but if you're interested, you should be able to pierce it together.Godspeed anon. Cheating in video games is extremely based btw.

Just fine a variable you want to control, search for the value, change it and refine the search until you have it locked down. That's good enough for 99% of the time.
>>103224972Someone at Gelbooru fucked up and added this image when AI isnt allowed.
>>103227582How the fuck is this AI? All the perspective is right. Everything is perfect.
