Most of what can be learnt is in the book but what I hate the most is having to submit answers and projects based on CLASS PROGRESS. I know most of the stuff but I won't get credit if it's too far ahead of the class or what's in the reading.I'm considering just switching to a major that's less time consuming because math courses and studying for exams is what's eating up my time. More free time = more self learning using books and courses. If anyone's curious about this dude he was an ex-league addict turned self taughtdev with no degree. I'm not that smart but I'm driven enough now to learn on my own. Here's my plan: >Get A+ cert to get a job in helpdesk which pays like shit but I have 2 years experience to leverage the cert. The low pay means that I'll be able to keep financial aid for my community college classes.>Take two courses per semester per year for ez major>Use free time left over to build stackAlternatively I could just live off my savings from wageslaving and remove the work part and get more certs for IT while studying. The goal is to get as many credits as possible at CC for a degree then transfer to a 4 year to save money.

op i don't know if you can handle this butCS is the easiest STEM degree and with the rise of LLMs if you can't do maths/don't have good CS fundamentals you're going to be homeless
>>103226292shut the fuck up about your pajeet infested commit log already, pedro. go the fuck back to your country
>>103226552It's Sébastian ese.. pvre Spanish blood holmes..
>apply to help desk with just an A+ cert and no degree Your plan is already doomed.
>>103226595do i look like i care about you, shitskin? fuck off back to mexico
>>103226528This. Universities are in a weird situation right now because CS in in such demand that the requirements to get in are higher than for math and physics. But the degree is by far the easiest. A lot of people who don't make the cutoff go into math instead in the hope of transferring to CS in the future, and they will all get brutally filtered.>math courses and studying for exams is what's eating up my timeWhat math courses, do you mean first year calculus?

>>103225484Dropping your CS degree program to do helpdesk is a great way to start a deadend career in helpdesk. If you're lucky, you'll realize your mistake before you turn 30.
dont do it or cs. you're a glorified expendable janitor. get into the people positions.
>>103227068simply not possible for some people. i'm not a people person and never will be. my goal is to get into the simple trades-like white collar jobs. code monkeying is the perfect choice
>>103225484I am not watching this> CTOprobably some self employed bullshit
