it's relatively easy to understand open source software that anyone can fork or adjust https://github.com/dylanaraps/neofetch I moved from screenfetch to neofetch because neofetch generates it's output slightly faster and aligns the text in a terminal in a way that i like better. I've seen fastfetch been promoted a lot on r*dd*t and considered switching over to that but it's not in the apt repository and I didn't feel like manually installing it from the deb file.

Why do some autists have an obsession with keeping their computer on as long as possible? It doesn't even make sense in the current year when it's a single-user computer for personal usage, not running a server.
>>
>>103235115
more the possibility that they just spun up a VM to look cool since there's no indication they actually use Linux. Also putting your computer to sleep instead of off will count towards uptime, and arguably it's more common to do that than shut it off all the way

There's not really much point in putting your computer to sleep (or suspend to disk, to use the Linux terminology) in the era of fast SSDs. My laptop boots in about 10 seconds, there is no reason for me to use suspend to disk.

Besides that, it should be pretty obvious who's running it in a VM based on the hardware info.

Most people seem to think it makes people think you're doing something really important when they're just wasting electricity. Mine is on 24/7 since it's doing everything (router, desktop, server and so on) but I try to always turn off the GUI and all that stuff so I don't waste more electricity than I need it and I restart it every time certain packages are updated (kernel, drivers and so on), but I don't see a point in bragging about uptime, just get an UPS and you'll basically have unlimited uptime if you really want to.

Did you make the small devuan ascii yourself? I wanted a smaller logo when I was using devuan.
>>
>>103235758
It is from pfetch https://github.com/dylanaraps/pfetch
neofetch doesnt have a small version of the devuan logo

They can turn a PC or a sexbot on but not a woman.
