No messager is actually p2p. All of them require a DHT which is literally a centralized server.I don't understand how these softwares have been publicizing themselves, as if the devices would connect directly to each other, when in fact not even the messages transfer to each other directly after finding out their ids on a opendht/proxydht, etc.

Is there any way to use CashApp without a physical phone? The desktop website says to download the app, and when I tried BlueStacks it said it won't let me download it on an emulator.
>>103231794Why would you even use this shit?
>>103231674It's worse than that anon. A random peer can just decide to delete your entire month's quota of data while you're asleep and there's nothing you can do about it.If you have a data cap, p2p is crap.
>>103233565An easy firewall block would resolve this.

>>103235518I said meds. RIGHT NOW.
>>103231674Isn't the whole point of p2p that you don't share the data? Basically you the server I have a message that corresponds to xSomeone asks the server I want a messages that corresponds to xAnd then you share the data directly. There's nothing to intervene except x sent something to y. The only way to find out what that data is is to ask the person for it. And if they don't want to share it, they won't. Absolute midwit here btw
