>natural language will be the new way to code
I just don't see it. Coding and problem solving is just too complex and you'd be doing more work fixing the spaghetti the AI creates.
>>
How would you even write a parser that translates natural language to code? Natural language is filled with ambiguities.
>>
>>103231694
it already is, and ud know that if u werent a nocoder
>>103231711
the ai is "the parser", the ambiguities are ironed out during the testing phrase during inference where the user thats prompting gets to choose what he wants
>>
>>103231694
I already ask Qwen2.5/chatgpt/claude to code using natural english spoken language. I dont even give specifics, I just do general ask and it does it. Then if I want to specific certain parts, I do so.
>>
>>103231694
you won't have to write code much in the near future but you will have to read it. and in natural language convince the machine to correct it

only nocoders would believe that
natural language is ambiguous and is not AT ALL made to precisely descibe programs like a programming language can

My teammates are using copilot or whatever the fuck and not even bothering to check the output and I'm fucking stuck cleaning up shit that doesn't even COMPILE in the repo. I thought I was working with absolute fucking retards until I figured out what was going on.
and then I knew I was working with absolute fucking retards
Maybe if ARM assembly becomes China.'s state mandated language lol
>>
machine instructions <--- assembly <---- programming language <---- chatgpt

the future is here.

>one day phones will fit in your pocket
I just don't see it. Phones are just too complex
>>
I write entire code bases using chatgpt
and I get paid nigga

>ayo sheeeeeeeeeit so.. computer! make me mad rich yo

I tried that, it told me to fuck off and sent a jpg of Sam Altman smirking.

Yea it's got an attitude and everything

>there's a multibillion dollar industry in programming the user into what he eventually believes he wants because understanding what he truly wants is impossible
>computer will totally change that

people who cant code with llms dont understand encapsulation

You mean abstraction, they can't abstract.

they cant zoom in either
