>he fell for the 1440p meme
>>103235108I use 1440p inside the VM that i am running on my native 4k system. There are seriously people who run a resolution natively that i am using for a little window.
1920x1200 for me
>>103235260Show me your upscale and whitespace ratio, I wanna laugh
Anything above 1080p is a meme
>>103236139go take a shit on the street
>>103236163in the world of dlss/fsr and 350€ UHD 144Hz IPS monitors why would anyone use less than UHD?
1080p is more than enought
>>103236180Size? They typically don’t make them less than 27 inches. Plus you also have to start upgrading your graphics card.
i like it. i dont need 4k. i have several 4k televisions already with HDR
1080p is the best bang for buck. There are severe diminishing returns after this. You can see proof of this in how slow uptake of higher resolutions has been. 1440p and 4k have been around for ages but most PC users still stick with 1080p. If it was so gamechanging they'd have switched faster. But no, it's stil happening at a snail's pace, even though it's become quite affordable. That speaks for itself. No one cares except severe autists
>>1032385172k at 120-240hz is comfy. I'll consider 4k for my next monitor perhaps, but I prefer frames over number of pixels.
>>103237554why upgrade the graphics card? Every modern game has upscaling from that looks pretty much like native res. And 1080p native for sure looks worse than 1080p upscaled to 2160p
1600 x 900my eyes!
>>103235108I went from 23" 1080p to 27" 1440p and everything looks exactly the same. All the text and icons are the same size as before, I just have more screen area now.
>>103235108I didn't fall for it, I'm still using a 1366x768 screen.
1080p is fucking garbage. Thank god im not a coping poorfag
>>103239557what is your screen size? 27?
>>103239178This is what I did and it's great. For my 14" laptop I have 1080p and would need >100% scaling if it was any higher res than that.
>>103239814>14" laptop I have 1080pim at 125%. no i am not blind, its just the most comfy to me.
>>103239882I tried this and it was cramped and some of my programs were blurry. Made me want to gouge my eyes out.
I have 4k now but 2k is perfectly great balance between resolution, framerate, and price
>>103239944which ones? for me its usually only the windows prompts that look blurry
>>103235108>>he fell for the 1440p memeHow did you know? Seeing the individual pixels on a 27" annoys me. At 24" inches it would have been better.
>>103235108At 27" it's the sweet spot. This is a particularly strange cope, because you can literally go to the store and look at their display monitors to see the difference. >>103239178Well no shit, if you increase the screen size too then the pixel density isn't going to change as noticeably. Try comparing that to a 27" 1080p screen.
