I've seen the c$ and e$ shares on Windows servers that only admins can access, I don't think I've ever seen security-by-obscurity mapped drives before

Yes, lol. We have a hidden (but otherwise completely open) Z: drive on the network that has semi-sensitive info on it. Been setup that way since I started (9+ years) but I don't work in IT so it's not my problem.
