>buy a good prebuilt gaming PC because i don't have friends or anyone near me that knows how to do it and i'm too afraid of fucking something up
>It's pretty cheap because black friday deals
>It's watercooled

How badly did I fuck up?? It's much better then my gaming laptop (yes I know, i'm very stupid)

Help a brother out

You could have watched a few youtube vids or gone to >>>/g/pcbg/ but if you've already dug your own grave then at least you're not a mac fag at least. Do everyone a favor and at the very least learn the basics of windows batch scripting. There's like a gorrillion usef programs innacessible to most people because opening the command line gives them nightmares.
>>
>>103242460
>windows batch scripting
I did just buy it, so i can Most likely refund it and find something better if need be
>>
>>103242460

Wouldn't they just tell me to build my own?
>>

This is what i bought, if it helps at all

Iff its just an AIO like the pic you're just fine. All in one liquid coolers are pretty standard these days, especially with how modern CPUs throttle.
>>
>>103242530
Right but it's not as hard as it seems. As the old saying goes, cowardice usually comes from the imagination. Notice how in the description the SSD model isn't listed, there's a reason for that. If you don't want to put in the work, that's up to you. Time is money afterall.

I hope that isnt too bad of a thing. I have another terabyte HD to connect to it after i get it.
Then i need to find a decent monitor for it

I'm too scared of having to change it (If i have to) every year or so. Dont wanna fuck something up
>>
>>103242420
All pre builds fuck you for parts, they buy dirt cheap parts that are on clearance. It probably doesn't matter to a retard though you won't know the difference.
>>
>>103243358
AIO breaks easily and randomly way more often than fan coolers.
There is no reason to use watercooling.
>>
I have cancelled my purchase and will see if i can go to a nearby miscocentre to have them help me get a good pc
My budget is like 1600 tho
>>
>>103243535
Good to hear you pussy. I'll throw you a bone: as far as gaming is concerned the 7800X3D and the 9800X3D are excellent options, practically the only 2 options for esports stuff really.
>>
>>103243535
It's not that hard and you'll get raped by any store that will charge you $300+ to build what is essentially a Lego set. Literally just go on PC Part Picker and look at other people's finished builds, find a CPU/GPU combo you like for budget/performance and order the parts on Amazon. Everything just plugs in / screws into the case.

With the recent AM5 insertion fiasco, DO NOT build your own if you aren't confident in your ability to do so, OP. Don't listen to the tripfaggot.

Anyways your prebuilt should be fine if it comes from a reputable builder. AIOs like the one in your image are less prone to leaking than bad custom loops because they're mass produced and standardized. Air is still the best though

pretty bad, would return it. you got gypped on basically every part. just throwing something together, barely browsing on pcpartpicker and i built something marginally better for a little under that price. you don't even need watercooling for a build like that.

With that said, Best Buy has builds in the box for pretty cheap especially for Black Friday that will not only be easier to buy but easier to return if there's a problem too. They also tend to have open box options sometimes for $400-$500 off the sticker.

Fren it says that some parts may be incompatible

Honestly, I just wanna upgrade from my shitty "gaming laptop" I was given that's like a 3050 lel
>>
>>103243609
Not talking about brand faggotry, dumbass tripfag. Filtered.
>>103243613
Two seperate cases of retards hamfisting their new 9800X3Ds into the socket, causing them to go BOOM. Just kinda shows there are indeed some people who should just buy a prebuilt.
>>
>>103243626
These builds aren't rocket science. You find an AM5 AMD processor, you find an AM5 motherboard with features you want, you then find RAM that matches the speed that motherboard supports (32 GB or 64 GB ideally), you get a 4070 or similar GPU, 1000w power supply, 2 TB m.2 SSD, a mid size tower case, and an AM5 CPU cooler.

MSI is being retarded as usual. They've made installing a CPU harder than it has to be but this is why reading and making sure you understand the instruction manual is so important. Most people don't like reading and this leads to many bad things that's hard to tard-proof from the manufacture's perspective.
>>
>>103243626
its just a potential bios update that 9 times out of 10 isn't something you have to even do anything about, the computer handles it on its own.
here, seventy more dollars to make the spooky red text go away.

>1000w
wtf, really?
>>
>>103243652
how fucking stupid do you have to be to not have the CPU flat, it can only be flat in one configuration (the right one)
they even put pretty gold arrows if you're too stupid to understand notches.
>>
>>103243660
Because headroom is good for your PSU
>>
>>103243675
that's a pretty huge amount of headroom bro. maybe like an 850 at the most, you don't need a psu with over double your wattage.
>>
>>103243700
Skimp on the PSU don't really care
>>
>>103243700
Maybe he wants to upgrade to 5090 next year?
>>
How is this?
I think im just going to take this to a microcenter
I really don't plan on playing the latest AAA slop with it

AMD GPUs are poorfag cope, the fact is Nvidia is the only game in town for AI, Raytracing, DLSS, etc. Also AMD GPUs are the only GPUs I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing blue screens with while playing a game.
>>
>>103243797
Then what would you recommend he change to?
>>
>>103243805
If on the cheap, I'd get a 3080 ti used.
>>
>>103243785
Unless you specifically know you want to have raytracing, that AMD gpu is fine. And at any tier except the top one, AMD provides more value per dollar.
Don't bother with that moron's recommendation, you're gonna get a crypto-mined beater card that'll die after a few years. I'd keep the brand new 7800 XT

its whatever i guess. dunno why you went with an older psu and more expensive ram.
2 tb nvme alright i guess, western digital is dogshit though.
that anon telling you to get a 3080 ti is not exactly wrong lol. though i haven't had any problems with AMD. its just that a 3080 ti is a pretty damn good deal on ebay right now.
>>
>>103243479
AIO will likely fail after ~5 years. They're pre-filled with liquid, so you don't have to try to fill it when replacing it,
The problem with buying prebuilt is you often get poor value for money, worse quality parts, and sometimes odd mistakes in installation.

>>103242546
Pricing is not horrible (on its current sale), but if you built yourself you could have whatever case you want, get air cooling for cheaper and same performance, not get no-name parts for SSD, GPU, RAM, and PSU, and not have to pay for a Windows license (lmao)

>>103243785
You can save $200 by going with one of their bundles.

If you look at reviews, that RAM is god awful and doesn't work half the time.
