why did moto mods fail?
Probably not good enough or too expensiveFramework has shown that there is a right way to do it
>>103242927Jews. I don't bother looking it up anymore. I'm tired of wasting time only to find out my knee-jerk assertion it was a heeb was correct. I can live with the one time in 100 someone proves me wrong. I like those odds.
>>103242927They were mediocre at best and pointless at worst. The speaker added nothing and sounded worse than even the cheapest Bluetooth speakers at the time. The battery added like 16 hours to an 8 hour battery. Most people just plug their phones into the wall. The camera was the main selling point but they way overestimated who would want it. Most people had and still have DSLR if they want a professional grade camera and DSLR blew the socks off of the camera mod and most smartphone cameras at the time were fine for most people. The projector was just retarded. It didn't work unless the room was pitch black and the image was blurry as fuck. You were limited to the app as well and couldn't just use Android and show the screen. The internal media player was terrible and janky. The shells were just cases and most people had other phones with cute cases. So I ask, who the fuck were these marketed at? I bought into them and it was fucking stupid.
>>103242927Too expensiveUgly low spec phoneCompatible with only one line of phones. An iphone is more fashionableThere's only so much you can cram in a phone, at the end of the day, it's either just a backup device, when you are away from PC and other devices or a show off item
>>103242927Probably a pain in the ass carrying around all those modules even if you had a purse.
>>103242927The closest we have now is the HMD Fusion but I have a feeling it will fare even worse
People want standardized shit. Motorola doesn't stand behind anything so you buy a phone and all those mods and they stop updating the shit after 18 months like it never existed
