Total retard here, if I were to take the drive out of my old laptop with an enabled but not active Absolute Persistence Module (fka Computrace), would any of this shit get on my new PC? Should I just buy a new SSD? I assumed it was just installed at the BIOS level or on a separate EEPROM and it shouldn't really touch the drive outside of the required software but I'm getting conflicting info.
