I bought a pajeetdroid tablet about two years ago and so far my use case has been - watching YouTube or sports streams in bed- playing Bloons TD6- that was itAndroid is completely useless for tablets it's absurd how little has improved compared to over a decade ago. Supposedly iOS is better but I don't use that

Just ordered a Black Friday deal Galaxy Tab S9+ to replace my old tablet. Once you get good at typing with them, they are much comfier to use than a laptop.

I have an old iPad Pro that I won, and it’s pretty much a Twitch viewer. Occasionally I use it as a secondary display when I have to work on the MacBook. It’s just not a serious device. Even with a cloud based IDE, you still can’t get anything g done because iOS it so chunky and wasteful of space.

I have an iPad which I use for looking at recipes. I genuinely find it confusing to use it for anything more complicated than that. I still haven't figured out why it tells me to add my payment information or iCloud account. No, I'm not buying anything. I feel like an old person saying that.

I cant see a reason to own something like an iPad though, the only people I see with them are old people who find it physically difficult to use a smaller screen or shitty parents using them to babysit toddlers.
I use it for reading. That's it. I suppose I could draw with it but I can only draw with pencil on cartridge paper.Android sucks. I would prefer a windows tablet but windows is a terrible tablet OS.

a phone is way too small, a 14 inch tablet is way too big, therefore 9-11 inches, somehwere around there is the perfect form factorthey're incredibly good for reading, perfect for gaming if you buy one of those controllers that attaches on the sides, good for browsing, , anime, manga...no other device really captures how good and engaging a tablet is, when you lie down on the sofa, on bed etcthese literally replace smart phones. i'd rather have a tabler + dumb phone for basic calls/sms and to use it as an mp3 player, than have a high tech phone. i barely take pictures or video, but i always tend to carry around a little shoulder bag, so even if i did my tablet easily fits in there and i can take it out for recordingtab s9 can run dolphin for wii games, gamecube games, the aether ps2 emulator, yuzu for nintendo switch runs good. its just an engaging device that nothing else really captures

At work our new software is a web app hosted in the cloud.Just log in from any device and it works. iPad is pretty good.One thing that doesn't work well are attachments. On PC if you just open a pdf it opens in Chrome. On mobile devices it has to download the pdf first.
