my goal is not getting a FAGMAN job. in fact i have already done that, but it was never my real goal. my goal is getting a job at a porn company like MindGeek.
i know for a fact they have their own dev team because i've seen people on HackerNews talking about their experience as a MindGeek dev.
do any of you /g/irls have any info that can help me on my quest to become the greatest coomtech hacker in the world?

i doubt mindgeek puts alot of money into their dev team. I mean sure pornhub is a decent looking site, but only in comparison to other porn sites, which is a pretty low bar. Really they should be alot better considering they have like100m+ users.

If i were you i'd go into porn game development, thats where the money is at. Theres already solo devs making a comfortable living on some shitty 2d web novel games, that they only update every 2-3 month on patreon, out there. There are whole studios making good money as well for quite frankly pretty low effort. Supply is low, and demand is high and growing by the day as society devolves.

i cant say i know much about porn games or that i've ever played one. but i can see how it could be true that there are a lot of money to be made out of it.
can you give some examples?

just google porn games or go on itchio and filter by nsfw to get an idea
the most common monetization scheme is to put it out there for free but lock the latest (or two latest) releases behind your patreon.
You'd be surprised how many people pay for that.
For example Kunoichi Trainer currently has 2.7k subscribers and even if we go by the minimum subscription amount thats 10k a month. Pretty good considering its basically 2 guys and some python visual novel framework. This is actually one of the more invested games as well

I don't read HN because I'm not a faggot. What's life like at MindGeek? I assume you're getting off to complex ffmpeg commands.
