Major feature for Windows LTSC users, Microsoft now releasing hot patches (reboot-less updates) for Windows 11 LTSC and Windows Server 2025. Having to regularly update Windows with reboots is one of the most annoying features, especially when it does it overnight. Now you can go longer without rebooting, until an update too complex to hotpatch gets released. I feel this feature will reduce a lot of the complaints about Windows eventually, but Microsoft will probably use it to slipstream more telemetry in the background with it.

This was already a thing on the previous server ltsc builds from years ago.

Maybe think for one second about the intended usecase for these operating systems and you'll realize that uptime is usually critical and not having to reboot them is very convenient, especially for system administrators.

You don't want to go longer without rebooting. Windows still gets wonky the longer you go without a reboot.
The only real benefit is that Windows won't reboot on its own to install updates.
