I was bugging you mutes about upgrading my 16G ram with RAM sticks. I saw post all over it doesn't work XYZ.

It was a geeked experience. First the sticks what they advertise can mean not a thing. You need to look up the manual on your motherboard. It's not easy to find. It took a while and I found you can only use certain sticks, and whatnot to mix match.

And they need to be in a correct order of: DIMM

I has (2) 8g sticks.
(4) slots.
To make my RAM (48)G I had to put (16)G sticks in slots 1,3.

I put them in the mother board, and then I got a flash lite out to get a better look at the DIMM slots. The manual shows the DIMM slots in a different fucking order than what is physically on the motherboard. On the mother board it's actually:
DIMM 1
DIMM 3
DIMM 2
DIMM 4

This was after I put the stick in that I noticed. I corrected the mistake. No fucking wonder people fuck this up, and cant figure it out.

I checked my PC, and now i have 48G RAM. Fuck. Rant over.

Why the fuck are you using a Dell motherboard in a normal case? Also where is your m.2 drive?
>>
>>103254526
I'm a hardheaded dude I got this PC for 300$ in the streets a few years back

m.2 drive. Yikes. What's that?
>>
>>103254534
I see it, it's above your GPU. You should have just kept the Dell case. Now you don't have any io shielding.

>I got this PC for 300$ in the streets a few years back
That doesn't look like it was a good deal.
>>
>>103254540
I have no clue I bought it from college kids in a super rich ass neighborhood. This is how it came. I'll looking up IO shielding. But this thing is skipping faster I'll say that
>>
>>103254546
Another random nerd said it was like a bargain care to verify better?
>>
>>103254547
"IO shielding is an essential component for maintaining a clean, dust-free, and electromagnetically quiet environment"

Care to tell us what's in the computer?
Having 48GB of ram doesn't tell me much.
BTW I used to own my shop. So hit me with the specs.

South/North Bridge
These OEM boards have such shit layouts.
>>

Well then you have no idea if you got scammed or not. $300 for a functional computer off the street isn't too bad of scam as long as it's not insanely out of date, but it's pretty easy to get a bad deal if you don't know what you're doing.
I got a pretty nice and clean HP with a Ryzen 5 and a GTX 1050ti in it for $100 a year ago.

This build is genuinely amusing, fw it heavy. Keep up the build.
