a g700 i've been using for (a shit you not) 15 years. or not exactly 15 since i took advantage of logitech's great (at the time at least) warranty program and got a free RMA sent to me within the original 3 year warranty period. didn't even need to send the old one back, so now i have a spare ;)

Razer gets a lot of hate, but I really like the deathadder v3. It's comfy and fits big hands. It was hard to find a mouse that wasn't designed for small onions hands. Probably would have bought an ec3 but the wireless version didn't exist when I got this.

Master 3 only because I got it from work and it has multi connect. Ergonomics are shit and sensor is ass, overpriced piece of shit usable only for office work, I would never buy it with my own money.

Needed a replacement for my rapidly dying G305 but I didn't want to get logiteched again. Overall It's fine, especially since it was like half the price of a genuine G305, and apparently it has a better sensor or something. Not that I've noticed any difference.

Main issues is I prefer having a AA battery instead of the internal one, having to charge it is painful vs just taking 20 seconds to pop in a new one. The USB drivers also seem a bit wonky, but I just remove and re-add the dongle. Not sure if there is a better clone out there, but next mouse I'll probably get another legit G305(or upgrade), or try out a completely new form factor.

ratchet only, although i imagine other 3s non-wired clones may have free-scrolling if you look around on ChinkMaExpress®

if you want to hardmod it to free-scrolling, you actually can.
the vertical scroll wheel's right arm is a hexagonal prism connecting to a hexagonal socket.
you can try grinding it down with sandpaper but no telling whether the socket will register scroll events.
also, i couldn't find any replacement wheel for the M10 model in Ali. maybe you can find other models' to fit it though.

I went through a bunch of logitech mice before buying a chinese tecknet gamer mouse for $15.
I bought the tecknet originally as a backup in case my logitech mouse would crap out since it had happened to me 3 times previous and I was down a mouse for like a week while I waited for amazon to ship out a mouse.
The tecknet mouse actually fit my hand better than more expensive mice and worked pretty decently except the buttons in it were crap. When the tecknet mouse started double clicking I found it easy to take apart and repair so I just replaced the buttons in it and it was nearly perfect.

The scroll wheel is starting to go in it now but instead of buying some overpriced gamer POS mouse I'm probably going to replace the encoder in the tecknet mouse since I'm currently building the mouse that will replace the tecknet.

do you mean the ball itself or what? there's a ton of companies making trackball and thumbball mice, including some that have been making the same models for decades.

>>103297259
I know there are good brands of it and bad brands of it. The nuclea mouse is actually a good mouse, and I haven't had problems with it. I wish there was a more 'premium' feeling version of it with maybe a bigger trackball but I don't know of any that are still being made now that hte Microsoft track ball stopped existing.

i like the trackball in the middle style, so the orbit is my recommendation. it's extremely comfy. kensington also makes thumb-ball style too. problem for you is that they are wired only i think. i mean maybe they make newer wireless models, not sure.
