CPU underpowered for the GPU.
Power supply has way too much watts and is inefficient.

What monitor do you have?

i like my little power efficient dust magnet though I probably could have gotten a ryzen 2-based system and a 1080ti if I spent $100 more.

feelsgoodman. Probably upgrade to a 16Gb radeon at some point when windows 10 no longer works. I am aware that you can load win11. I don't want to. I can get another 5 years outta this box with linux and a supported gpu

use a site like this to check bottlenecks, your cpu is a little underpowered for your gpu: https://pc-builds.com/bottleneck-calculator/result/1w31ge/1/general-tasks/1920x1080/
also you said 4060 in your post but have a 4060ti in your pic
i would at least get a gold certified psu unless you're poor
plug your shit into something like pc part picker if you haven't just to make sure there are no glaring incompatibilities

less psu fan noise under load but paves the way for future graphics cards upgrades
>>
>>103298004
Ah, makes sense, long term build then I assume? Hedging on the chance 850W becomes the norm. Well I guess when that happens you'll probably upgrade to reduce noise

Lenovo S30
CPU: Xeon E5-2690
GPU: RTX 2060
RAM: 32GB 1600MHz DDR3
Storage: 256GB Crucial SSD, 1TB WD Blue, 4TB WD Red, 6TB WD Red
PSU: 650W [whatever the S30 came with]

AM4 system replacement maybe sometime next year. Keeping my drives til they die (data is backed up regularly), PSU seems adequate, and I love my giant tower case.
