What are the monitors they have at doctor's offices? They are extremely minimal looking and doesn't have that ugly consumer-style design. How do I find one?

Barcos typically. Don't get excited; they cost like $10,000 each.

Buy Apple.

They're calibrated. You won't be able to afford them. Not even all hospitals do, that's why many print out the results on calibrated printers that are a lot cheaper.

Just get a Dell Ultrasharp, they are no-nonsense office displays.

At my doctor's office? The absolute cheapest they can find short of picking broken CRTs out of dumpsters. Don't need fancy colour calibration to use false colour images or spreadsheets.
Not all doctors blow money on stupid gimmicks that don't help.

Those are nice. I like mine a lot. Technically better than I need, and I don't care!
