Is it worth pursuing a career in coding or cyber sec now?Apparently the bubble popped and the industry is completely over saturated and other factors like H1B workers and AI being able to fix basic coding issues.

>>103498442Skill issue. The recruiter I work with submits my resumes for me and even handles the initial screening with the hiring recruiter. I only get an email when they're interested in setting up the first interview with the team. Only the entry levels on Indeed are saturated but anything strictly requiring something DoD 8570 Level 2 or up is still good. Get a TS/SCI clearance (which H1Bs and GCs are ineligible for) and you're golden. They rarely post those roles publicly because they don't want to tip off that they lack someone in that role meaning they are currently experiencing a heightened risk. Cooders can only work in tech companies but cybsec can work for finance, utilities, MSSPs with govt contracts, and any large enterprise. It's honestly so good, they're still willing to hire remote if compliance allows it.
