Steps
30 35
40 50
75 100
>>
>>103513232
I've noticed this with anime gens over realistic ones. The benefit of higher steps is much more apparent. 40 seems about right to me.
>>
Randon OOM are random, really starting to fucking piss me off.
>>
>>103513306
>random
If you cancelled a gen before it was able to offload the model between steps, it wasn't random.

Being a poorfag, I want to know how good the B580 is for this kind of workload. Hopefully they won't be too expensive when they arrive in my country because I'm quite interested in them.
>>
>>103513318
nah i either need full reboot or something changed in an update,i need sleep anyway.

I could do higher than 512 x 512 yesterday now it oom so fast
>>
>>103513232
40 or 50 really does seem like the minimum. 100 looks great. Also, KEK I can't stop laughing at these gens. But my horrible gems do confirm that you can brute force certain motions with prompting. And this is with a shitty suboptimal workflow.

Not very, assuming it even works with an Intel card, 12gb is the absolute barest minimum for Hunyuan vidgen at the moment

NTA but the pieces were all there. What it does and what trainers for flux do aren't that different. Not sure how it works with video in the mix but I imagine it was not as big a leap as you might imagine.

In terms of VRAM alone (ignoring drivers), 12GB is fine for gooning with LLM and image gens. You won't be running the smartest models (you're stuck at q4ish quants of 13B), but there's plenty of amazing RP finetunes at that range. Your key issue here is how well intel is supported by different software.
>>
I'm to the point where I can reliably churn out another one-of-my-best-gens-ever every night with my fluxprompting. The way the models improve and I improve over time I wonder how trivially easy it will be in another five years' time to gen haunting beautiful 1girls that far exceed the ones that enchant me now. Maybe I will lose my mind completely.
>>
>>103513652
>Your key issue here is how well intel is supported by different software.
Yeah, there's that. I'm a bit worried about Intel dropping these GPUs in the trash after a year or two given how much its board seems eager to chase short-term profits. Guess it would be safer to continue with team red.

It's weird that every video model limits their length to the length of training samples.
Isn't it straightforward to just borrow the same mechanism from LLMs to have some kind of context and attention, so that you can generate videos as long as you want?
I thought it's obvious.
>>
>>103516219
even changing steps can lead to a different video from my experience, though it's still viable to get rid of weird output not worth fully generating

I'm sure we will get there, gonna be crazy to give a prompt that describes entire events that lead after another event. Will be fun to see what happens.

I feel like this kind of thing is a new form of entertainment, it won't exactly replace TV/movies, but it will be it;s own thing.

It will be way more exciting when we can do long videos for sure.
>>
>>103513318
>>103513345
It was the negative prompt, i bypassed it and low and behold it works without OOM. So don't use the recently added feature of negative prompt, you don't need it anyway. Can just eliminate things like jerky camera motion by prompting a steady shot or something.

tl;dr negative prompt feature uses way more vram

Tangentally related.
My sound goes to my tv screen which is my monitor and listed as HDA NVidia Digital Stereo (HDMI 4) on linux.
When I gen the sound (streaming radio) cuts out, lowers in volume then resumes randomly during generation.
Probably better asked in FLT but any ideas from here are welcome.
>>
>>103514719
Yes, Linux is better for this, however I was already using linux and I found out why I was OOMing, it was the negative prompt hyvid_cfg

The same reason you have to turn the radio down when trying to think or read while driving
>>

Its my fault for going down that rabbit hole that lead to a false sense of progress. I am however working on something that worked better before hand, and in combination of a good prompt would work better. By using 2 images and interpolation over 90+ frames, but i was struggling with quality since the deep depth slider lora i was using was over baking it and that effects the output with artifacts or noise. So not all is lost, I have the workflow ready with that part almost worked out, I will however wipe the rest out and start fresh so its not all spaghetti.

I can fix the noise or bad over cook frames with controlnet, something like normal map normalbae and lineart or tiled. And so I would reconstruct the fake animation, but there are no guaranties this will work its just theory.

Negative:
"blurry, depth of field, bokeh, sketch, greyscale, monochrome, traditional media, illustration, 2d, 3d, cgi, cartoon, anime, painting, painterly"

RealVis guy has a WIP 3.5 Medium tune, it's not perfect yet, a bit more unstable at higher-than-SDXLish resolutions than the base, but a solid improvement over the base at XLish resolutions:

https://huggingface.co/SG161222/RealVis_Medium_1.0b

All you need to run it is grab the "diffusion_pytorch_model.safetensors" from the "transformer" folder, and load that instead of the regular SD 3.5 Medium safetensors.

This assumes you were already loading all the text encoders and the VAE from their own separate external files, to be clear.

I'm using the default "hyvideo_lowvram_blockswap_test" workflow in comfyUI. It works but whenever I try to connect the "HunyuanVideo Torch Compile Settings" (all kept at default) I get an error when trying to generate something that says "can't create a file that already exists" and references a temp file. The temp file does not exist before starting the generation so I think it is created as part of the process and then immediately causes an error. Should I just ignore the Torch Compile Settings node?

Just use a guide to do standard WSL install with default Ubuntu if you're trying to do lora training for hunyuan.

You'll need install anaconda/CUDA devkit/torch again for linux and edit the config to point to hardcoded locations within your home/[username]/ directory

I'm a brainlet when it comes to linux but followed basic guide to set it up and managed to figure out how to install all the packages needed. CUDA was probably the trickiest but NVIDIA has good documentation for WSL installs.

Wait I think I remember someone telling me my card was not compatible with it, do you have something lower than the 4000 series? maybe that's the issue.

maybe you don't have enough vram? it asks for at least 15gb of vram
>>
>>103519046
I am running a 3090 so that could very well be the issue.

Do you use block swap node?
If so disable it.
>>
>>103519287
no blockswap and less than 97 frames
>>
>>103519178
maybe check if you properly downloaded it
best is to git clone the repo
>>
manually re downloaded all the files todays
>>
>>103519323
Including the other files in that folder?
>>
>>103519340
yeah all of them just like the guide says form huggingface
>>
>>103519323
probably totally unrelated but there is a .triton folder in your users/name folder, maybe try deleting the cache there
>>
>>103519178
you have to manually download the repo into the right place, yes all files. the automatic download has problems, don't try to git clone as that won't work

Just install comfy in Ubuntu running in WSL.

make swapfile and allow windows to manage its size, sorry bro but this thing eats tons of ram if using block swap which is needed sometimes.

try only 9 frames at 256 x 256, if it can't even do that then its not a ram issue
>>

it is, but do you seriously believe we could get the quality of hunyuan on a 2b model? it's unlikely to happen

oh i get it anon, but seriously swap is there to prevent you system from just hanging should it ever run out of ram. I have an entire SDD that is dedicated for swap, it was dirt cheap second had, i enabled discard of blocks in fstab and i need it for this because i'm a ramlet using a cheap mobo that only support 16 GB max
>>
>>103519700
Sadly it's shit no better than base imo, so back to waiting. Fuck.
>>
>>103519674
but you're already using 40GB with less than 97 frames, think about that. About to have your ego broken by this thing
